Hey all, I'm pregnant with my second child, my first was 18 years ago, and I'm 37 years old. This new lil baby has been transverse most of my pregnancy, and at 33 weeks still is! Any suggestions on how to gently at home help this process along? My obgyn has mentioned c section if he doesn't turn on his own, and she promises there's nothing I can be doing to fix this myself, but all my reading has said otherwise. Just wondering if anyone has any personal experience with this?
OBs can be annoying little farts. 😂 Yes you can spin your baby to be head down. Look up “Spinning babies transverse” on YouTube and you’ll see tons of great vids. Mine was transverse at 33 wks too. I did a Breech Tilt position, and when I got up, baby had flipped and is still head down now at 39 wks! https://youtu.be/QoKDbA-vAOo?si=-fbueyMSfNaWlR0L
Baby has flipped!!!! Which is awkward now because he's never taken up this much space before and now I cannot breathe lol! I tried a few yoga positions, and did a lot of squatting and he seemed to respond well to that. Thanks for the tips
Re: Transverse babies
My doula has mentioned this website a few times. Doesn't hurt to try! 🤷♀️
