Doula recs for Los Angeles (Pasadena)

Hi. Anyone have recommendations for a doula? We're delivering at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, CA. My fantasy is to find a labor & delivery nurse turned doula. A girl can dream, right?

    There should be a few good groups in your area. Or at least there used to be. A lot can change in 13 years so unfortunately I can't offer anything current. My friend's sister is in Pasadena but her youngest is a teen, so, she won't be much help.

    My second midwife eventually joined up with 4 others out of Santa Barbara. Same thing happened with 2 other midwives in a different area; they either joined up or started their own group.

    Midwife searchs are much easier today than a few years ago. Don't be afraid to meet and interview several. I haven't met one yet who didn't appreciate questions.
