    Hi everyone! New here and newly TTGP! 

    I am 26 and my husband is 27/almost 28. 
    This is our first month TTC, so 1 month!
    I started tracking my cycle several months ago/stopped hormonal birth control at that time. Starting January, we officially ditched the condoms and are timing intimacy with ovulation as much as possible! 
    No children yet, married three months ago :) I work in the medical field and husband is in IT. We have three fur babies and are excited to expand our family!

    Can't wait to meet everyone!

    Hi Knottie, welcome!! Tell me more about your fur babies? Everyone was sharing photos of their pets last week and it was such a sweet experience 🤗

    I hope your stay here is short and sweet; but while you’re here, it’ll be easier for others to tag you if you can change your username to something easier to distinguish. FYI you may have to log out and then log in again for a username change to take effect.

    (Pregnancy/miscarriage/child mention)

    Hey all! I’ve been here before but it’s been a long time. I originally joined in 2015 TTC, got pregnant and miscarried, then had my daughter in Dec 2016. After hemming and hawing ever since, we are about ready to try for a second. I’m still friends with many of the ladies I met initially here. 

    Ages (you and SO): I’m 36, will be 37 by the time we do this thing. SO is 39. 

    How many months have you been TTC?: None yet, really I belong in babies on the brain but it’s dead there sooo 🤠 Going to start tracking and preparing and cheering people on. 

    What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Nothing yet, but a big thing I am waiting on is a nephrology follow up in March. I have had some health issues that, long story short, caused some pretty severe hypertension that seems to be caused by my kidneys, but not sure how yet after a year of testing. I want to talk to my doc to see if this is even a good idea, and I’d also have to have some med changes. Also starting to take prenatals and trying to eat better and take off some weight first. 

    Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)
    Our daughter is 7. I’m a nurse. Biggest hobby is our four border collies that I do a lot of dog sports with- showing, agility, nosework, barn hunt, and in the past have done obedience, herding, and rally. Also into photography, art and whatever the hyperfixation of the month is (it’s currently indoor plants). We live in MN, but I grew up in OR and we’re hoping to move there in the next year or two.

    Four border collies?! I love love love watching them do agility—they’re so obviously in their working dog element—but I cannot even begin to imagine the chaos all that energy must bring to your home! (Is one of them the star of your profile photo?)
