Just found out I’m pregnant and husband isn’t excited

I took a pregnancy test today after my missed period and when I first saw the positive test I was so excited but all my husband said was “ok”. No smiles, no excitement or joy. Then later when we were in bed, he said “you don’t seem so excited” and I said “I am I’m still shaking” and he just said “well, you got what you wanted”. I’m really upset he’s not excited. He’s not a fan of kids but wanted to give me one for the sake of our marriage. Not sure how to go through this pregnancy. I feel alone.

    A conversation needs to occur. If you wanted a baby and he wanted to give you one, he realistically needs to work on getting excited. I know my husband took a hot minute to get excited, so maybe he just needs time for it to sink in. But you need to ask him, are you going to be alone in this pregnancy or will he be there to support you? Pregnancy had it's highs and it can really have it's lows. You need someone who will be there emotionally for you.
