  • @maggiemadeit that is so frustrating about the placenta previa! Fingers still crossed that the placenta will move out of the way. 36 weeks does feel early, but many people have there babies that early with no complications. Fx that you have the best case scenario ❤️.
  • @maggiemadeit my son was born 36+6 and everything was fine!
  • @maggiemadeit I am glad to hear baby is doing well but that is super scary about the placenta previa.

I know this is more common in people with Asherman’s but that doesn’t make it any easier to hear. I am worried about that and placenta retention at birth because my doctor warned me that both have a higher chance of happening and both sound scary. I hope that you don’t have any bleeding and you can go ahead with the c section at 36 weeks. I think 37 weeks is considered full term right so hopefully at 36 weeks everything will be ok!
  • @maggiemadeit I'm sorry to hear about the placenta previa. That sounds scary to hear, but I'm glad you have an MFM you trust and a solid plan for how to move forward. And 36 weeks is SO close to full-term! I know it can be scary to have a pre-term baby no matter the situation, but I have friends with babies born that early that are doing GREAT!

@kbru88 Congrats on your first boy! How exciting for your family!
  • EDD / Weeks + Days: 6/18, 19 weeks

    FTM/STM/TTM+: third

Baby is the size of a (an): zucchini

    Team blue/pink/green: green

Upcoming Appointments: Anatomy scan on 1/31

How are you feeling?: Like most everyone else, starting to feel the aches and pains. I'm waddling already?! Definitely seems too early to be waddling.

Rants/Raves: Rant: My kids were home from school all last week due to ice, and my house is a mess because of that. I'm overwhelmed thinking about cleaning it.

    Questions: I have 2..

Any recs for constipation relief? I've been taking a fiber supplement, but it's not helping much.

Does anyone else feel the baby move all over? I can feel baby way low, almost near my crotch, then up high, almost near my boobs. I don't think the baby and my uterus are that big yet, so it seems like a wide range of movement.

GTKY: What’s been the hardest thing to refrain from during pregnancy? I'm not intentionally refraining from it, but sleep. I just don't sleep well when pregnant.

What do you anticipate being the hardest change when baby gets here? Probably being tied to baby's schedule. My older kids are 5 & 7, so it's been a while since we had to adhere to a baby's sleeping/eating schedule.

  • EDD / Weeks + Days: June 18 (19 weeks)

    FTM/STM/TTM+:  FTM

Baby is the size of a (an): A mango

Team blue/pink/green:  we find out soon!

Upcoming Appointments:  anatomy scan on Friday and first OB appointment on Monday

How are you feeling?:  good on the whole. I’ve been having heartburn and upped abdomen pain (I think from everything starting to shift up), my hips have also been quite sore lately.

    Rants/Raves:

just trying to take everything day by day. It’s been quite to process jumping into a new role at work, while I’m dealing with all these changes around pregnancy. But I keep reminding myself that I’m doing the best I can do in all aspects of my life.

    Questions:

GTKY: What’s been the hardest thing to refrain from during pregnancy?

Uggghh I know I’ve said this before but I hate not being able to sleep on my back. I think the biggest cause of my hip pain is that I need to shift from side to side all night.

What do you anticipate being the hardest change when baby gets here?

I think just adjusting to parenthood. Getting to know what your baby needs instinctively. I know that it will get easier over time though.

    Team blue/pink/green: Blue

Upcoming Appointments: Next Monday! The 29th? Anatomy scan

How are you feeling?: Pretty good. Starting to feel squished on the inside already.

Rants/Raves: Postpartum anxiety has been a struggle this week, but trying to enjoy one on one time with my baby girl.

    Questions:
GTKY: What’s been the hardest thing to refrain from during pregnancy? What do you anticipate being the hardest change when baby gets here

Probably going from one baby to two under two!
  • @jrose424 sending you some love on the PPA struggles <3

Baby is the size of a (an): Banana

    Team blue/pink/green: pink

Upcoming Appointments: second opinion with high risk Feb 7th

How are you feeling?: anxious, stuffed, more pregnant then I am

Rants/Raves: A little nervous about my option with MFM in the 7th. My OB wants a second opinion just as a precaution because last baby was a preemie.

    Questions:

GTKY: What’s been the hardest thing to refrain from during pregnancy? What do you anticipate being the hardest change when baby gets here?

Maybe going back to newborn phase. Other two girls at 8 and 6. But also excited to have a newborn again. Hardest thing is that I feel a lot worse this time around, I feel like I’m already third trimester.
  • @kbru88 Congrats on the boy! What a lovely surprise.
@maggiemadeit I'm sorry to hear about the placenta previa and bed rest. Sending all the good vibes that baby girl stays nice and snuggly in there as long as possible.

  • Hey there! Have you been diagnosed with Asherman’s Syndrome by chance? I am pregnant after loss and being cleared from AS.
  • EDD / Weeks + Days: June 10th/ 20w6d

    FTM/STM/TTM+: FTM!

Baby is the size of a (an): 🍌

    Team blue/pink/green: Blue!! 🩵💙

Upcoming Appointments: I had my anatomy scan Monday and everything the tech could look at/ measure is present, operating and measuring on track. I have a chill little boy though and he wouldn’t move so she couldn’t see the spine and one of his arms/ hands so I have to go back at 22w to try again. Wah wah.

How are you feeling?: I’m feeling pretty good! I get sore really easy/ when I try to be too busy. My back and hips are probably hurting the worst.

Rants/Raves: Baby boy’s movements are so inconsistent and it gives me anxiety. Monday after my scan, he moved the entire rest of the day and since, I’ve questioned if I’ve felt him even once. I’ve considered pushing on my belly like the US tech to make him move again but uggghhhh.

Questions: Did anyone else have to go in for a second anatomy scan? It makes me anxious but everyone assured that it was pretty normal.

GTKY: What’s been the hardest thing to refrain from during pregnancy?
Sub Sandwiches. Mmmmm 🤤 I already told my hubby an Italian sandwich from Jimmy John’s was the first thing I wanted after birth and turkey with spicy ranch is the second.

What do you anticipate being the hardest change when baby gets here? Going back to work! My company allows for us to take maternity leave from the time we find out we’re pregnant until 8 weeks post birth. After that, we can stay out until baby’s first birthday unpaid but we can’t afford the unpaid bit for more than 3 months so back to work I go after almost a year off.
  • @rosycheeks7 I had surgery for Asherman’s in May 2023 after several losses and a long time without getting pregnant. It wasn’t my only fertility issue (also very low AMH) but I was able to get pregnant 4 months after the surgery.
  • @rosycheeks7 I have to go back February 6th for more scans to look at the spine as well. It is very. Common and nothing to worry about. Doctors like to have as much information as they can. Odds are baby is healthy and growing and everything looks good. ❤️
  • @rosycheeks7 I was also diagnosed with Ashermans after 3 miscarriages and had 2 surgeries to clean the scar tissue, one in June and one in August 2023. After my second surgery I had some of the scarring come back but decided to try again since it was better than before and unlikely to fully go away. It’s a tough process!
  • @elle-0409 sharing this mocktail recipe that I love - I used spindrift blood orange sparkling water instead of tonic and it was SO good https://pinchofyum.com/a-really-good-non-alcoholic-margarita
  • @curlyandpreggo Ooohhhh… that sounds so good. Thank you!
