Which one is baby?

in 1st Trimester
Hi, had an early scan dated at 7w 1d. I've had 2 previous pregnancies with early scans bur have never seen what the sonographer said was the yolk sac.

Which one is the baby and which is the yolk sac?

Has anyone else seen their yolk sac in and early scan as I didn't see it in my previous ones and just wondered if it's normal

    The yolk sac should be circular ring and the baby usually looks like a bean at 7 weeks. And yes I saw mine with my sons scan around the same gestation

     I had an early scan at 6 weeks and the tech explained to me that on the screen that looks looks like an engagement ring, the round ring shape is the yolk sac and the little tiny white ball attached at the top is the baby.
