Re: 3rd Trimester Symptoms

  • Well, my belly touches the steering wheel in my car now πŸ™„

I functionally have no abs, and if I am on my back, even moderately reclined, I am stuck like a turtle on its back. And the pathetic remains of my lower abs are so sore all the time.

Tying my shoes is.... like an Olympic sport.

Coughing and sneezing are increasingly painful. Heaven help me if I get a cold 😷

  • @hedgepig I feel you on being stuck like a turtle. The chiropractor had to help me up yesterday because I got stuck. And tying my shoes is the absolute worst. DS1 has finally decided he wants to learn to tie his own shoes now of all times when I can barely reach my feet😐. The number one thing I asked for this Christmas was shoes that don’t require tying. My sil got me super cute black slip ons that my feet are too swollen for😫 going to check out those sketchers @ceclarlinetlo.

Ive been playing the is it pee, discharge or did my water just break game lately and I hate it😫 definitely too early for my water to break but baby girl is like permanently sitting on my bladder so I feel like I pee or emergently need to every time I stand up.
  • Oh man, the breathlessness and heat racing is back. I walked 30 minutes to and from the vet today (with my cat in a backpack), and I had to stop and sit down on the sidewalk at least five times on my way home. The hill at the end was the worst...I thought I might die.

Also, is anyone else feeling a bit of nausea again?
  • @cioccolata16 I am having a super gross nausea and exhaustion day. I think it's because I forgot my supplements yesterday, but I am not sure. I am also starting to feel like baby is pressing on my stomach and that doesn't really help!
  • @hedgepig I caved and asked for the crocs! Lol I have croc wedges I wear for work but at home I needed slip on shoes

kmw611 I was playing that game until I was told I had yeast infection. 🫠 but now I definitely know bby is sitting on my bladder because I have the constant urge of wanting to just pee myself.

cioccolata16Β my nausea has come back but only because of smells triggering me again πŸ˜’Β

For me, the overwhelming urge to nap is hitting me hard. I also have hip pain like a bitch and I’ve been taking barre and yoga to help relieve some of the pain.Β
  • For me I'm back to being exhausted... Need to sleep at least 10 hours with some naps on top of that! Also noticing some ankle swelling happening. And lots of peeing. Baby is doing summersaults all the time and it's neat (for now) 2 more months to go! πŸ™ƒ
  • Ok. I have a weird one. I am really glad a friend of mine also had this happen when she was pregnant so I know I am not crazy. I keep feeling a buzzing sensation in my butthole. It’s so bizarre and I hate it.Β

  • @ceclarlinetlo I genuinely don’t mean to laugh but that is definitely wild πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I’d be so annoyed if that happened to me thoughΒ
  • @alexxajams I don’t mind if you laugh lol. It’s really ridiculous. Like, what on earth?Β

It's great that you got the Crocs for home comfort! Slip-on shoes make a world of difference. On a related note, dealing with a yeast infection and the constant urge to pee sounds challengingβ€”pregnancy brings its unique set of experiences. Nausea triggered by smells can be quite bothersome, but it's good to know you're finding ways to manage it. The overwhelming urge to nap is a common pregnancy symptom, and I hope your barre and yoga sessions bring some relief to the hip pain. Speaking of relief, have you considered discussing your symptoms, including hip pain and nausea, with your healthcare provider? They might provide insights into managing these discomforts. On a different note, if you're ever looking for information about zimeton or any other medicine during pregnancy, it's crucial to consult your healthcare provider for personalized advice and guidance. They can provide the most accurate and relevant information based on your unique health situation.

  • @farm_mama lol right? That was weird.Β
Also joining the "pee every 2 seconds" team. His head is soooo low, the second he moves, pee goes in my peehole. It's GREAT
  • I think I may have crossed the line into never being comfortable again until the baby comes. I took a nap today with my giant pregnancy pillow and three others and I still had trouble getting comfortable for my nap. I honestly have no idea how I survived being pregnant with my other two - they were both 99% for size and I made even more amniotic fluid than I have right now and my body is just done.Β

  • @ceclarlinetlo I feel the same way. I feel like I can’t take a full breath anymore. We took my boys and a nephew to monster jam today and I was winded before we even made it from the entry gate to our section to sit down.Β
  • Ok. I have a weird one. I am really glad a friend of mine also had this happen when she was pregnant so I know I am not crazy. I keep feeling a buzzing sensation in my butthole. It’s so bizarre and I hate it.Β
I just saw a lady on TikTok say that this happens to her whenever her baby has hiccups! So bizzare but maybe an explanation πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ˜†
  • Is anyone experiencing non sickness sinus congestion? I know I just got over all the sicknesses, but my sinuses are super swollen and my congestion is awful. It's bloody this time, which I read is normal in pregnancy. I could barely breathe out of my nose last night and my husband spent a few hours monitoring my breathing as I struggled because my mouth breathing was concerning him. Just trying to figure out if this is normal for 34+ weeks pregnancy or if I'm getting another sickness.Β
  • @cmill828 totally normal and totally annoying. I think for me it is a combination of dry winter air, pregnancy, and an ongoing influx of germs, but yes.
  • @cmill828 I have been congested for months. I don't usually have inflammation just so much mucus. The drainage keeps my cough from healing so I've just got a permanent low level cold at all times basically
  • @cmill828 unfortunately normal I think. I’ve been congested, off and on bloody nose for a few months but definitely worse as the weather is getting colder. We also use fire for heat so it’s very dry in the house which doesn’t help. A humidifier has helped me some when I use it consistently at night
  • Thank you, friends. ❀️ After flu and covid, my poor husband is like "Dear God, not again". I told him I thought it was normal at this point, but that I'd check. I hate being a mouth breather, ugh.Β
  • @cmill828 Same here. The snoring and pig snorts at night are great. πŸ™ƒ But looks like it's totally normal!Β
  • I am in the same boat as everyone else with the constant congestion crap. And because I already had seasonal allergies pre-pregnancy I now have bloody mucus a LOT. Gotta love the double whammy feeling of only being able to breathe through your mouth and also your lungs being the size of dixie cups.

Side note: This is my first pregnancy and I started lactating and idk what to do lol. Do I just ignore it? Am I supposed to collect the colostrum and freeze it? I also had pierced my nipples in college and took the piercings out years ago but now I am leaking out of ALL the holes 😭😭😭
  • @spoop you can definitely collect whatever is leaking out anyway. I would not use a mechanical pump because nipple stimulation can start labor. But they make passive milk collection cups you can wear in your bra and then you can freeze whatever you happen to catch!Β
