Anyone else have bleeding but ok?

Im recently pregnant with my second, thought i was 5 weeks along and had some heavy bleeding but not the same as period it was shredded looking i cant describe it. So thought i was having a miscarriage. Went to ER and ultrasound didnt predict anything, said it was either a normal early pregnancy, miscarriage or ectopic. My hcg was 80 so wouldnt be visible on an ultrasound. They had me come back in two days and my hcg about tripled so they said possible viable baby and arent concerned for miscarriage but i will follow up with OB. Bleeding stopped after the two days. Has anyone else experienced this before?
They said that it could have been too early to see on us and that bleeding could possibly be a pseudo menstrual. I dont want to get my hopes up but im glad the hcg went up like it was suppose.

    I had some bleeding at 6 weeks. It was medium brown and filled a small/thinner pad. I called my ob, and she said because of the color it wasn’t a miscarriage, and likely due to the hormones from IVF. Had an ultrasound a week after that and everything was normal, including heartbeat.

    When in doubt contact your ob (or find one if you don’t have one). These things aren’t usually super clear cut until you chat with an ob.

    ER is the LAST place a pregnant person should go for pregnancy advice.  Bleeding can be irritation of the cervix, subchronic hematoma, or just random.  Follow up with your ob

    Oh glad things were normal for you. Thanks! I see an OB tomorrow so hopefully i get some clarity.

    They were able to do my hcg two days apart while i wait for my ob tomorrow. So i do feel a little better with the numbers but yeah thats about all they could. I will just have to wait for repeat blood work and more us.
