Leftover Hcg or new pregnancy?

A little background info: I miscarried 22 days ago with the help of cytotec after discontinuing progesterone to advance with my missed miscarriage. Carried tissue until 7 weeks but baby stopped growing at 5w2d. 8 days ago I had unprotected sex and took emergency contraceptives 14hrs later. The past few days I began feeling nauseous fatigued super smell back ache ovary twinges very much pregnant feeling so I took a test today and this popped up IMMEDIATELY. could this be leftover hcg or a new pregnancy I am so confused.

    There’s really no way to know since it seems like you didn’t have your HCG tracked down to zero? Did they even confirm you completely passed all of the tissue? I’d make an appt asap with your doctor so they can figure it out.
