Postpartum Anxiety at 3.5 months pp

I am 3.5 months postpartum. I am generally a worrier, but haven't been as anxious with this second baby until the past few days. I have been having terrible anxiety attacks around the same time every afternoon/evening. I am going to call my OB for an appointment, but was wondering if anyone else had an onset of anxiety this late postpartum.

    Postpartum depression/anxiety can manifest up to a year following birth. You are not alone! Consider looking at the resources at postpartum.net. they have a help line, online support groups and will help you find a therapist in your area. You will get through this.

    I can totally relate. I’m 3 months post partum and suddenly started having awful anxiety and insomnia. I got sleeping pills for the meantime but I plan on going on anti anxiety meds + therapy. Note, I’ve always struggled with anxiety, but it got significantly worse around the 3 month point. I felt totally fine those first months! 

    Apparently our hormones change a lot at 3 months!
