Stepping reflex

Does anyone else have an order baby who still does the stepping reflex? My son is almost 6 months and he has not lost it and I’m wondering if this is normal

    Yes very normal, it can last up to 1 year old.

    Even my twin girls have this Stepping Reflex at 6 months of old ,they were prematured. Current adjusted age is 4 months 2 weeks. I just want to know about how's your baby doing

    Yes, some babies can retain the stepping reflex a bit longer than usual, and it doesn’t always mean something is wrong. Typically, the reflex fades around 2 months, but every baby develops at their own pace. If your son is otherwise hitting milestones, alert, and moving well, it's likely just part of his unique timeline. That said, if you’re concerned or notice other delays or stiffness, it’s always worth bringing up with your pediatrician for peace of mind.
