Baby is the size of a (an): Weighs as much as 3 quarts of milk
Team blue/pink/green: Pink
Upcoming Appointments: Tomorrow, Weekly check up
How are you feeling?: Ok! Still sleeping pretty good overall, but up like clockwork every 2/3 hours the last few nights to pee- guess that's my body getting ready for feedings every several hours. lol. No heartburn (knock on wood), aches in pains in the hips but it's probably because I've been so sedentary the last few days. Emotionally, I'm feeling good- just super excited to meet baby!
Rants/Raves: Not a rant, but I got my Group B Strep results this weekend before I had a chance to talk to my doc tmmrw about the results. I tested positive, which is not the end of the world, but still weighing on my mind just a little bit. Any STM or TTM mom's out there who tested positive for this? Rave: my husband and I both got each other the same gift for Xmas- comfy robes hahahaha. Guess we're both on the same wavelengths and ready to be spending ALOT more time at home this next year.
Questions: None. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and early Happy New Year!
@raeraekat I’m also waking up every 3 hours like clockwork! Its been like that for at least a month now and I totally agree that’s it’s the bodies way of preparing me for a newborn schedule lol
Upcoming Appointments: I had my 36 week appointment (complete with a GBS swab) yesterday and we confirmed baby was head down! I feel relieved, but also not fooled that he isn’t in there flipping around every single day. Haha
How are you feeling?: Mostly well, but every day and every night is different. Some nights I don’t sleep at all and others I sleep like a rock!
Rants/Raves: I’m either being told I look so small for being 9 months or I look enormous and must be having twins! Wtf? I’m dead serious. I just don’t get it. Also! The heartburn sucksssss! It’s not an everyday thing, but when I have it’s just the worst.
Questions: I had asked about perineal massage before, but no one really had any experience to share so I’ll share my experience. I’ve started doing perineal massage with a wand and also started seeing a pelvic floor therapist who is helping me with hypertonic pelvic floor muscles. I’m feeling good about it and hoping it helps with my goal of an unmedicated birth 🤞🏻
