Honest Opinion on this name…

Baby girl coming in September. Can’t decide if this name combo sounds nice, or too much! Help!

First name - Willa
last name - Warawa

I like the idea of having a W first name with the W last name.

Opinions? Too many W’s and A’s ?? Or does it sound nice and “lyrical” almost Haha

Re: Honest Opinion on this name…

  • The W’s don’t bother me as much as the two names ending with the same sound. I think Willow might have a better flow even though it adds an extra W.

  • Sorry but it's way too much IMO. THE W W doesn't bother me, but as PP said the a ending and way too many w and a sounds.

I personally think that Wryn or Willow would be much better.
  • I think Willa is beautiful ❤️.
DX PCOS + mild male factor
    TTC since Dec. 2015
Current Treatment: Metformin, Provera, Letrozole, Trigger, IUI
Past Treatment: Clomid + Metformin x 3 BFN
Letrozole 5 mg + Trigger shot + IUI = BFP!
    Beta confirmed 8/22
    EDD 5/1/17
  • That name is very cute and I think it's nice with the last name.
  • I love the name Willa since it's more unique than Willow, but with the last name it may be a bit much... but! Follow your heart. ♡
I remember growing up with a kid named "Wyatt Wasalunchuck" so if anything, people will remember their name decades later!
  • I think it’s cute and if you like it, go for it!
If she marries it could eventually change anyways and she’s not always going to be addressed by first and last but by her first name! I think a cute middle name could also help space it out, if you’re a little worried.

Willa reminds me of country singer Thomas Rhett’s daughter. I love it!
  • a music teacher i work with got married and her first and last name sound the same/ rhyme.
For her privacy i won’t post, but it’s so funny!
She always says yes that’s my real name
  • It sounds a bit like a tongue twister, but it's cute... idk, maybe go with Willow instead or something that doesn't sound so close? At the end of the day you loving it matters more than it sounding sing-songy.
  • She's going to be Wiwa Wawawa. Just developmentally, that's how she and her peers will pronounce it into kindergarten or so (l and r are late developing phonemes in speech, and both can become w).. After that, it may stick because it's silly to say. Up to you whether you think that will be annoying enough to choose a different name
  • WHAT ABOUT WILDER WILLA !!!!!!!
  • I like Willa!
  • Agree with the thoughts of willow
  • I like Willa and I think it’s a good combo but I do foresee people having trouble pronouncing correctly. Congrats
