Early labor?

I'm 40 weeks and 4 days today. I had a membrane sweep at 40+2. I lost my mucous plug/had bloody show Friday night and have had constant cramping, low back pain, and pelvic pressure since yesterday afternoon. My stomach is almost always hard and I have yet to feel what a contraction has been described to me as, even though when hooked up to monitors I was told I was having contractions, just couldn't feel any difference than normal. Could this be early labor or just ongoing side effects of membrane sweep?

    I thought the same with my first one, i typically do have a high pain tolerance and I thought maybe other people were just making a big deal of them but for some reason i couldn't feel them... then they started... and there was no mistaking them, and no peace until I got the epidural! you will know.
