MA Paid Family and Medical Leave

hello, has anyone taken MA’s paid family and medical leave? I see that the max medical leave is 20 weeks and the max bonding is 12 weeks (with a 26 week cap combined). Has anyone been approved for the medical portion? If so, how many weeks were you approved for and was it a vaginal or cesarean birth? I’m wondering how much I can expect to get for a vaginal delivery with no complications. Thank you in advance!

    I havent given birth yet, but from talking to HR at my current job, usually the doctor will give 4-6 weeks if vaginal birth and 8-12 weeks if c-section for medical leave.

    I had normal vaginal delivery no complications and got 20 weeks total
