**This is a place for those of us who have already started TTC, but have started infertility testing and/or treatments. You can express your thoughts, feelings, and frustrations on infertility. TTC can be a long journey naturally, then add in the difficulties associated with infertility, and it becomes a whole new ballgame. The road to infertility can be lonely, frustrating, and complicated, so let's make this a place where we can vent, ask questions, and support one another. Feel free to resurrect this thread at any point in the week if you have something to say. Treat this as an ongoing conversation.

Diagnosis (if you've been): hypothyroidism is about it so far
@inthewoods23 I find it so strange that they would give you meds without a way to dispose of them! If I had to DIY it I’d probably go for a small glass jar (from like capers or another condiment) and punch a hole in the top with a nail or chisel or something. Also I’ve always thought pet peeves were minor annoyances—and yours sounds like a legit grievance to me!! I did read a study recently that basically said men and women are equally aware of clutter when it happens but that women seem to experience far more negative psychological effects from it…
@ATolentino89 Is your clinic do any additional monitoring this cycle, or just leaving it to you to test or report AF?
@ejoseph16 Ugh that sounds like such a stressful end to the semester! I’ve always wondered if it’s really worth coming back from Thanksgiving or if we should just lump all of December into a real, proper winter break. (Spoken from a teaching perspective; I realize for working parents it’s not so simple.)
Diagnosis (if you've been): Unexplained
Status (TI/ICI/IUI/IVF/FET/benched): Benched
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): PGT-M test development
How are things going?: Clock is officially started on test development! 8 weeks and counting until it’s ready! Now to sort out how their timeline, my cycle, and the clinic’s IVF schedule will align.
Any questions?:
GTKY: What is your biggest pet peeve? It used to be tags sticking out of people’s clothing, but now that so many things are tagless I’ve been spared 😂 So at present probably loud chewing and other eating noises. It just gives me the icks.
@aisleofviewtwo He's still working on the anxiety, but we are taking things one step at a time. I asked if he was okay with me doing a phone call to ask some questions and he said that was fine. Then I made sure he was okay doing the orientation (I did the phone call by myself but for the orientation he needs to also be there) and he said he's okay taking that step. So we're just taking it one step at a time and still figuring out if it is right for us.
@aisleofviewtwo just test and notify. I am curious though because I read on another forum that they're supposed to monitor the whole cycle with Femara.
@ejoseph16 we gifted his teacher a box of chocolate after I saw a Mr. Williams reel for no more mugs 😆
