Help! Little to no symptoms 5-6 weeks pregnant

Hi all

First timer here! When i first had my missed period and tested positive i was feeling tired to a degree - just needing a small nap (like 30mins) a day. However now im 5w 5 days and im not experiencing any other symptoms at all - no nausea, morning sickness or food adversion and i feel like my need to nap is disappearing. Im still slightly tired just laying on the couch watching tv. I still have days where i feel extremely bloated and need to urinate alot but cant help but feel anxious until my 8 week scan. Thoughts on this? Im just worries my lack of symptoms could point to missed miscarriage or perhaps empty sac

  • Fell blessed you are not puking your guts out.  This whole philosophy of "u have no pregnancy symptoms something is wrong mentality is rediculous."  We only hear the "horrid stories" guess what you have a symptom: missed period!

Stop wishing something that others are struggling with.

Be blessed you even get am "8 week scan" as that is not really a "standard of practice" unless there are certain criteria that are met.

Those who do have symptoms- safly enough they do lose their fetus at atmosphere also.

    Just breath!

  • Hey just here for solidarity! I'm tracking about the same as you at 6w and it is very unnerving to not be feeling much and have no way of knowing what's going on for another 2 weeks. The way I'm thinking about it is that it is either going great or it's not, and there's honestly nothing we can do in the meantime to change it so why worry! Hang in there and hoping for good news for you at your 8w appt!
  • I'm nearly 6w and had cramping and nausea nearly constantly from 3w+, it seems this week has been more of a weird stomach feeling (stretching? I can't even describe the feeling it's so weird) and nipple pain. Occasional nausea in the evenings or before lunch, but the severity of my early symptoms seem to have calmed. Which I am somewhat thankful for. From everything I have read pregnancy symptoms come and go, as long as there isn't bleeding and/or severe cramping nothing indicates a problem. Think of some positive mantras to repeat to yourself! I'm very worried about a miscarriage so I am constantly telling myself "I have a healthy, strong baby and my body supports them." Maybe that will help?
  • Hey! I'm almost 7 weeks and like you have had very little in the way of symptoms. I'm just trying to think of it as a positive that I'm not feeling as awful as I potentially could be haha! My main symptom has been tiredness, finding myself falling asleep on the sofa every night come 7pm! I also have sore boobs but that's it!

I think, as others have said, unless severe cramping or bleeding occurs then we shouldn't worry too much!

I'll be 10 weeks at my first appointment!
