Any one been told they have both the above or either one? What were your experiences? Were you told to not do anything in particular or had to bed rest?
Would love to hear your experiences and what your OB have said.
I had a marginal cord insertion with my first. It was found in my first trimester and started seeing a High Risk OB immediately after. I had monthly growth scans and checks along with the normal anatomy scans. In my last few weeks of pregnancy I was scheduled for Non stress test to check baby. Everything ended up being fine, no bed rest and delivered a healthy baby boy vaginally. Only hiccup during delivery was his cord was so short he couldn't be moved past my belly once he was out. Other than that no issues.
With my son I had velementous cord insertion (so even more intense than marginal… cord was even further off to the side) and ALL WENT WELL!
I got a few extra scans at the end of pregnancy, but baby kept growing nicely, he was never “too small”, which was the worry. Healthy pregnancy, healthy delivery and a healthy baby. Now he’s a healthy little toddler !!
