Haven't been able to find HB in over a week 😭

I've been able to find it easily from like 12-14 weeks and all of a sudden around 14 weeks I stopped being able to find it. Like at all, no matter how long I search for :( I'm 16 weeks today.

I've tried:
Full bladder, not full bladder, propped up, laying flat, searching from pubic bone to belly button and hip to hip. Literally no galloping heart beat. I can hear placenta I think and wooshing, windy noises and blood flow. 

I'm seriousley going insane 😭 next ultrasound isn't until the end of the month & there isn't any private ultrasound places anywhere near by.

I'm just fearing the worst at this point. Also I've had miscarriages in the past which is why I'm so anxious and worried about this pregnancy.

    As a doula... this is why I don't like at home dopplers. Call your OB and see if they can squeeze you in for a HB check for reassurance. Most likely everything is okay!

    Call your doctor, hopefully the baby is just hiding. Have you felt any movement?

    I was able to easily find my first two kids after 12 weeks but not this one! He’s good at hiding. There could be other factors too. Bloating especially. Look lower than you think, maybe, and tilt it down behind the pubic bone. My boys both liked to sit really low. But yes, contact your doc; you don’t even have to say you can’t find the hb at home. Just that you’ve miscarried before and want to see if you can have some reassurance.
