Boric Acid?? Freaking out

Hi everyone, I recently found out that I’m 4 weeks pregnant but before knowing I was pregnant I was taking the boric acid vaginal suppositories. Once I found out I was pregnant I stopped using them but I fear that I could’ve caused harm to the baby. Everything I read online says terrible things about it causing birth defects or it just says there’s not enough research.

Im coming on here to see if any women used BA while pregnant (first trimester) and everything came out ok? I’m still waiting for my in person intake appt. So I have just been a nervous wreck.

    Hey!! I was using it too before I found out. It was not a problem at all, just no more suppositories. I told my ob and they said no worries. I was having symptoms of bv and they gave me a round of antibiotics. Congratulations!
