Thread for all things breast pumps and accessories!
For FTM: insurance covers a pump! You can use a website like Aeroflow (I know there’s others too) to pick a pump and they submit everything for you!
It’s possible Not all types of pumps are covered, but for the more expensive ones you can pay a partial amount and insurance covers the rest!
Re: Product Spotlight: Breast Pumps
I also got extra tubing/parts and flanges. You have to replace parts every so often depending on how often you use it. My biggest hurdle was not having the right size flange for my nipples. That is important for production and comfort. A lactation consultant can measure you.
I got a haaka that everyone recommended but I didn’t quite know how to use it. I know now so I might use it again, cause when I was nursing I would lose a decent amount of milk on the other side.
