Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) we have a 3.5 year old boy, William. I am a 5th grade ELA teacher, my husband works at a local university in their testing center/tutoring center. I love crocheting (currently working on a blanket for DS for Christmas) and reading, but reading has become a pastime, unfortunately.

    TW: losses mentioned

DS is a rainbow baby. We had a BO at 9 weeks in April of 2019. We had no issues conceiving once my cycles regulated.

We decided to start trying the January before his 2nd birthday. We had a CP in May of 2022, and now just suffered our 2nd CP this weekend. My doctor wants to do blood work and start medicated cycles once I have fully miscarried. I came back here after a long break because I know my IF community is strong on here, and I need to lean on some people to navigate this new chapter.

  • @ejoseph16 How to express that it’s good to see you again, but also that I hate to see that you’re back here? I’m so sorry for what you’ve been through and are going through. We’re here for you 💛
  • @aisleofviewtwo I understand your sentiment, because I feel the same! I really needed the break from TTGP board, I think I was getting a little too angry with driveby’s. I’m so grateful to be back though to be a support for others going through similar situations ❤️
  • *lurking* @ejoseph16 I’m so sorry to see you back here. Thinking of you at this difficult time ❤️

How many months have you been TTC?: 48
4 years with nothing...nadda.... while having no protection

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?:
waiting for af so I can schedule a HSG, waiting for blood work so we can figure out meds.... basically waiting to start a new cycle so we can figure out what is wrong with me

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)
I actually participated here about 4 years ago but stopped after so long because *feelings*. I have a December 2015 boy and last year we picked up from Houston to move to northern Alabama. Hubs got a new job and I am currently a SAHM and going to school for a degree in IT. The school thing happened because I surpassed a year of infertility and needed a hobby. Then year 2 came and I got a cat. Year 3 was when we moved and this year I got ducks. However with hubs new job came better insurance that actually covers infertility diagnostics and infertility treatments.
  • @ATolentino89 from a fellow IFer, welcome! Sorry to see you here. We're happy to have you in our IF thread if you have any questions starting the process! So happy that you have insurance for infertility stuff now!

  • Heyyyy,

-Ages (you and SO): 29 and 29.

-How many months have you been TTC?: 4

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Lots of the dance with no pants. Ovulation tracking, and I just started prenatals.

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)
I've been with my hubby since high school but we've been married for a year now. I don't have any children yet. I'm currently pursuing a degree in pharmacy and I own a small cosmetics business. I love to read and cook. I'm pretty social. I'm usually the party-thrower of my groups. I'm the 2nd oldest of 11, so I was not in a rush to start a family, but I'm over-the-moon excited at the prospect of becoming a mom! I came to hopefully gain a community and support from people who understand my current situation. Plus, I have no friends with children, so I have no one to talk to about TTC, so I hope I can find that here.
    Anyway, heyyyyyy and <3.
  • Welcome, @theamazingmrsbb! I hope your stay here is short and sweet 💛

What are you reading these days? Do you have a preferred genre? I just finished The Nightingale (historical fiction, not my usual choice, but actually recommended to me by a couple people here on TTGP) and I loved it!
