    How are you feeling?: Pretty good! Exhaustion has gotten better.

    Rants/Raves: I have been SO sick for the past week. Even ended up in the ER, negative for everything, but with such a bad headache all I could do was cry. They wanted to do a CT but its risky to baby so I refused. Ended up giving me antibiotics hoping it was just a severe sinus infection, which seemed to have worked. But it was horrible. Missed a whole week of work. On the positive side, my best friend had her first baby over the weekend and I was her doula and it was amazing! Also, going on a trip this coming weekend with 6 good friends to a book signing event. We got an airbnb and are making it a girls weekend. Super excited! AND today is my sons 3rd bday! So lots going on here, lol.

    GTKY: What would be your ideal vacation destination? Greece if we are going all out! Otherwise what really sounds nice right now is a cabin in the mountains and some peace and quiet, lol!

    How are you feeling?: not bad but currently have a cold! 

    Rants/Raves: not really a rant persay, but still on the wait list for a midwife and getting antsy. My rave is prenatal yoga - had my first class last week and LOVED it

    GTKY: What would be your ideal vacation destination? Anywhere warm LOL with delicious food

    Thank you!!! They can be so bad! Sorry you have a cold but hope it is mild and goes away quickly. So not fun being sick on top of pregnancy - plus can barely take anything, lol!

    Rants/Raves: my 3 yo has been a handful and not wanting to potty train. I’m not trying to stress him out but I do want to stop buying pull ups 🤣

    Family - disney
    Romantic - anywhere all-inclusive and luxurious 😂

    EDD / Weeks + Days: 14w/6d. Due May 7th, but we're having twins so I assume it will be sometime in April.

    FTM/STM/TTM+: I had to google what these meant. :lol: FTM (at 41!)

    Baby is the size of a (an): Peaches. 

    (Only If you know already!) Team blue/pink/green: Just found out today that we are having girls!

    Upcoming Appointments: I'm getting a 16-week ultrasound on 11/21, and I'll have ultrasounds every two weeks going forward to monitor for twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome.

    How are you feeling?: The exhaustion hasn't let up much, despite what I'd heard about the 2nd trimester. Neither has the nipple pain/sensitivity. I've been very lucky though that nausea has been minimal this whole time.

    Rants/Raves: I posted once in the intro thread right before our NT scan and NIPT bloodwork. I then lost my job that week, and it's been stressful since then. I got onto my husband's health plan, but I'd made my deductible on my plan that I lost so everything had been fully covered, and we might have more out-of-pocket costs now. I really want to find a new job soon so that I can be there at least a couple months before telling them I'll need maternity leave.

    GTKY: What would be your ideal vacation destination? - I welcome the idea of a vacation anywhere at this point! My younger cousins are going to Ireland on Thursday for a week, and I'm jealous of them. :)

    Upcoming Appointments: finally meeting my OB next Friday.

    How are you feeling?: 
    Happy to be past the first trimester! Nausea is fading and mood is a bit lighter after some depression in the last couple of months.

    Rants/Raves: wishing my boobs would stop getting bigger so I could buy some new bras without worrying they’ll only last a month. But perhaps that’s inevitable… 

    Questions: good brands for maternity bras?

    GTKY: What would be your ideal vacation destination?

    we are contemplating a trip to Hawaii in the winter so I suppose that sounds good right now!

    FTM/STM/TTM+: First time!

    Baby is the size of a (an): lime

    (Only If you know already!) Team blue/pink/green: n/a, not yet

    Upcoming Appointments: 2nd appointment completed today, next one in 4 weeks

    How are you feeling?: Y'all, this is so hard physically and mentally in ways that I did not expect! But I have good support and I'm giving it my best. Loving learning a little bit more about our little one at each appointment. 

    Rants/Raves: First time hearing the heartbeat today! ❤️ Little one is making me feel all of the feelings!

    Questions: Anyone else feeling a little overwhelmed with the massive to-do list to get through in the next few months?! 😬

    GTKY: What would be your ideal vacation destination? We took a delayed honeymoon the year after we got married for close to 4 weeks in New Zealand! We drove through both islands, stayed in multiple cities, and did everything on the dream bucket list. I can't wait to go back someday, maybe with kiddos in tow! ✈️

    Next appointment is tomorrow, 11/16. Then a few weeks after, anatomy scan! 

    Feeling: morning sickness slowly fading but still occasionally present. Reflux. I’ve got the vibrating vagina at last, lmao. I remember this with my first two around this time. It’s such a weird feeling. 

    Rave: I’ve felt baby wiggle a few times, but it’s not consistent yet. Rant: our dog has to have her tail amputated due to a massive cyst and the expense on top of an unexpected baby and also before Christmas is killing me. 

    GTKY: whenever it’s winter I just want to go somewhere warm. But if I really think about it, either the south of France, or a tour of the UK.

    Upcoming Appointments: Dec 1, checkup

    How are you feeling?: good, nausea and throwing up has now become mostly confined to the first 6 hours of the day now, like from waking up in the morning until noonish. Basically it’s actually just “morning sickness” now lol instead of all day and night sickness. I’m starting to have an appetite again!! and my stomach is always growling. I’m trying to eat some heavier foods to hold me over now, thanksgiving prep has been helpful for this!!

    Rants/Raves: super excited to have found out that I’m having a baby boy! My first child is a girl so I get to shop for boy clothes now! 

    Questions:

    GTKY: What would be your ideal vacation destination? I’ve never been to Hawaii but that keeps coming up in my mind as a place I want to go someday soon.
