@night_nurse I feel ya on the candy
@ceclarlinetlo that is sweet ! I love how y’all met
I love how everyone met lol
EDD / Weeks + Days: 20wks (he’s measuring a week ahead though)
We also finally picked his first name but now struggling with middle 🤦🏽♀️
They required me to sign a waiver. I had to agree to have an IV in place and continous fetal monitoring, neither of which were a big deal to me. My doctor and nurses were all very supportive. I never felt pressured into any interventions at all, but they also knew going in what I wanted.
With both my VBACs my provider has ordered a late ultrasound to check placenta position and scar health immediately before delivery.

Rants/Raves: I'm feeling overwhelmed at the amount of things we need to get done before baby gets here! Hubs is stressing, which makes me stress. I know we'll get there, but it feels like a mountain of chores and I'm already tired of waddling lol. Also this stupid anterior placenta is really bumming me out. I can still only feel him occasionally.
births though, and I am a HUGE advocate for birth education. I know a lot of c-section mamas find great local support through their local ICAN chapter (International Cesarean Association Network). You can find specific info on hospitals and doctors in your area and empower yourself to acheive your goal of a vbac.
@hedgepig i can only imagine what it’s like have TWO babies in there. I know you guys are pretty rural but do you have a chiropractor in your area you can see? Mine applied some kinesiology tape at my last bisit and I was shocked how much it helped my RLP and SI joint pain. I bought some to do myself.
@cioccolata16 I was just talking to DH about how much more I focus on mortality while I’m pregnant. Mostly my own, but family members too. 3/3 for far with this happening. I think it’s a really natural way our minds are dealing with how much life is changing ❤️
@mb928 so much reflux going on here too
@cmill828 I felt barely any movement with my first too. Having 2 posterior placentas after that has made me realize what i missed. You’ll feel more as he gets bigger and still so many other ways to bond with baby. But i understand the sadness.

How are you feeling? Pretty dang good. Spirits are high. I feel confident, sexy, like nothings gonna bring me down. Is this the 2nd trimester blissful feeling? Lol. I feel super healthy emotionally, grounded, and level-headed. My friend had told me months ago I would feel great in 2TM and I laughed in her face cuz I was miserable. But here we are! Enjoying this feeling and wondering how/if I can harness it and implement in 3rd TM and beyond!!
Rants/Raves: @ceclarlinetlo you are not alone!! Due to horrible weather on Halloween we only had 4 trick or treaters leaving me with 5 huge bags of candy. Reeses didn't stand a chance. And milky ways, kit-kats, snickers.. sigh.. hasn't been pretty 😬
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? He was my National Guard recruiter. So yeah, he sold me on the military and then sold me on marrying him 😆 Known each other 10 years. Celebrating our 7 yr wedding anniversary on Nov 26th!
but they were nearly to my elbow and super uncomfortable.
@cioccolata16 I am definitely having some anxiety on and off this pregnancy. If it is starting to interfere with your daily life, it might be time to talk to your doctor about a therapist referral or medication if you are open to it. It might be easier to get into a routine with services/medication now than post partum when it might become more unmanageable.
EDD / Weeks + Days: February 24, 24+5
@ceclarlinetlo We have almost the same timeline for meeting our SOs!
@alexxajams No experience here with a vbac, but I had an anterior placenta with my first and it had no impact on a unmedicated vaginal birth for me!
@night_nurse Right? My belly honestly feels like I'm nearly full term and I have no idea how these babies are each supposed to grow another 5 lbs + 😬 We luckily had a Webster certified chiropractor at our local clinic who I saw during my last pregnancy, but she left 😭 I will have to ask and see if we have anyone who is certified to work with pregnant people in the area now. As for KT tape, I was looking into it because it seemed like it would be super helpful, but then I realized that since I have a skin sensitivity to bandage adhesive, I probably can't use it 😕
@dinomeetsjedi I have a lot of anxiety around viability too, especially since we live 4 hours from the nearest NICU that would likely care for a micro-preemie. I feel much better as we get closer to 30 weeks.
