Five Things Friday 10/27

The exercise of Five Things Friday is usually to think of five positive things in your life right now. But it is also fine to just think of five neutral things. Personally I use it as an exercise in positivity, but it’s not required.

  • 1. My mom visited last weekend to teach my kids how to fish. It was really fun memory making for all involved. 

    2. We also had absolutely gorgeous weather for our pumpkin patch visit. 

    3. Yoga last night was much needed and felt great. 

    4. Less than a week now before NIPT results. 

    5. I’m gearing up to do NaNoWriMo for the first time in years.

  • 1. My son is at such a fun age and listening to him laugh and sing today brought me a lot of joy. 

    2. My mom had a heart test done yesterday and everything came back good! 

    3. I am grateful for the nausea it is reminding me I am pregnant. 

    4.  I am grateful for the understanding and kind OBGYN. 

    5. Grateful for my husband putting up with my exhaustion and nausea and helping out more than he should have to.

  • 1) Today we had an appt and heard the baby's strong heartbeat! 
    2) I am thankful to have a home that I truly love being at 😊 
    3) my husband has been so kind and patient with my heightened emotions and anxieties. 
    4) i have a 3-day weekend with minimal plans
    5) I am loving the calmness that has come with the change of seasons and the weather cooling down 😊
  • 1. Thankful for a healthy baby so far
    2. I really liked the OB I saw on Monday!
    3. My son is so sweet and fun even though he’s also a complete threenager. He’s speech delayed but his speech has been getting so much better lately!
    4. Grateful that my husband is letting me stay home & is working hard to provide for us
    5. This group! 🥰
