Hello from what has been the sickness sludge at my house with the tiny human getting a daycare cold, me having a mild version of that briefly, and MH getting a full on virus/infection/being useless for a week and needing antibiotics. Luckily those suckers are working and he's finally on the mend/able to function which is excellent news as we leave to go visit family/for a wedding in CA Wednesday.

Right?! I’ve started applying to other places because on top of that, my pay is not what I’m used to. Luckily I have dr notes to cover me, because I do get that ppl take advantage of that. But still, not ok and I’m also just hating life right now.

@SpartanCat hope it’s not a bug! My daughter had some cold at the beginning of the month, then had a bug a week ago. I was still recovering from Her cold, then finally got better and boom! Bug hit me so bad I got severely dehydrated..
Hope your ultrasound appt went well!

I'm probably just being paranoid, but I'm trying to decide whether it's worth calling the maternity group call group for my physician. The last day or so, I've barely felt any of the usual fetal movement, and what I have felt is light and fluttery (when it's otherwise been pretty strong). Maybe she's just changed positions or is sleeping more, but it's worrying. 25wks + 4 days. Any thoughts? Similar experiences?

@cioccolata16 I don’t think kick counts start until 28 weeks, BUT there is never anything wrong with calling to get your provider’s opinion on something that concerns you.

@cioccolata16 Have you been particularly busy? I have noticed with past pregnancies and this one too, that on days when I am super busy/moving around/on my feet I don't tend to feel/notice movement as much but I think I am just too preoccupied to notice.

Ugh, DD came down with a cold with a croupy cough last night and had an awful night, and on top of that our water heater went out last night, so now we're out of hot water until we can get a replacement in 😭😭😭 Luckily we have family nearby so we can take showers, but it just sucks to deal with it, not to mention a big expense.

Thanks @hedgepig and @ceclarlinetlo! She seems to be more active today, so perhaps it’s just where she’s positioned. And yeah, a couple of more weeks until kick counts start, so I probably just need to chill, haha

Add me to the sickness club. We've had covid and it's been rough. The kids have handled it fine, but I've been feeling incredibly bad for what feels like a never ending number of days.

At @SpartanCat I hope you are feeling better. @hedgepig I hope DD feels better ASAP!
