Would you rather: would you rather be in your first or 3rd trimester in the middle of summer?

My daughter was a September baby. My third trimester wasn't bad so I would do that over 1st trimester

    Upcoming appointments: 10/27 GD two hour test 

    How are you feeling? Unfortunately getting migraines and headaches a lot. Trying to manage by resting more and laying down every day. It helps. Dr said use caffeine and Tylenol, ice helps. Hoping it improves into the second trimester 

    Rants/Raves: I sorted all our baby clothes and got 6 white trash bags of girl clothes to give to friends and the handmedown closet. I sorted all the neutral and boy clothes into size boxes and pulled a few I don’t want and I don’t need very many things. Just a little short on 3/6 month clothes. 

    I also sorted and checked all our cloth diapers and threw away anything with cracks or dead elastic and sorted the rest into my smaller/bigger sizes. We look well set with those too so that’s nice. Just need to strip them and sanitize them (always start fresh with a new baby imo) 

    Questions: Do you think we are okay to do bump day hump day starting this week? Sure. I may not have much to o post yet but others sure do. 

    Would you rather: would you rather be in your first or 3rd trimester in the middle of summer- first. I was in my second in the summer with my first baby and that was also fine. But I was due April 19 with my second and he came may 3 and it wasn’t too bad yet.

    Upcoming appointments: Anatomy scan scheduled for 11/21

    How are you feeling? Reality is starting to sink in, and I'm starting to research baby essentials. Getting more eager to share news with extended family; may revisit our plan to wait til the ultrasound. 

    Rants/Raves: Just talked to our surrogate today, and she's now established with her OB after graduating from the RE. I feel like she's had so many fewer appointments than I remember with my pregnancy, but that may be because I was considered high risk with multiples. Excited to hear that she's starting to feel some movement!

    Questions: Do you think we are okay to do bump day hump day starting this week?
    I think seeing pics helps members connect a bit more; unfortunately, I won't have any to share 😄

    Would you rather: would you rather be in your first or 3rd trimester in the middle of summer?
    Probably first, so that baby is born in early spring; our weather is beautiful then. Also, I don't wish 90+ degrees and the third trimester on anyone.

    Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: A lemon, also 3oz per this morning's ultrasound

    Upcoming appointments: Tomorrow, December 14th and 15th

    How are you feeling?: Good, definitely seem to be leaving the first trimester woes behind. Still dizzy some days, and tons of back pain though. 

    Rants/Raves: My back pain and sciatic nerve already. We learned with my first pregnancy I'm fully hypermobile so my body releases relaxin way too soon. I also have a degrading vertebrae that doesn't help things. 

    Questions: Do you think we are okay to do bump day hump day starting this week? I'd say yes! I know I'm due the end of April and I'm already showing. Plus it reminds me to document and take pictures

    Would you rather: would you rather be in your first or 3rd trimester in the middle of summer? First. Both pregnancies for me have been great, being big in the winter is so much better as someone who hates the heat to begin with.

    Rants/Raves: eating and drinking regularly is amazing

    I'm guessing this is posting pictures of ourselves on Wednesdays? Sure. Baby has popped

    I don't want to think about being in the first trimester again... Maybe ever... Ugh

    How are you feeling?: more like myself! Still get tired

    My first was an August baby and it was rough but I think the first trimester in the heat was worse for me. I felt like I couldnt be outside with being nauseous and lightheaded this time

    How are you feeling?: nauseous a tad but most days are better now!

    Would you rather: would you rather be in your first or 3rd trimester in the middle of summer? Definitely first, I do not do the heat!

    How are you feeling?: Nauseous, still having serious food aversions. 

    Rants/Raves: B6 seems to be helping some. I finally ordered my genetic testing, so I should finally know gender in about a week. 

    Questions: Do you think we are okay to do bump day hump day starting this week? I don’t mind, though I do not have much in terms of a bump yet!

    Would you rather: would you rather be in your first or 3rd trimester in the middle of summer. First trimester, no question.

    Upcoming appointments: just went for 16 week check up this week- next is the anatomy scan set for 11/20

    How are you feeling? Like a human again!! So happy to be able to be more productive around the house again, it helps my mental health too!

    Rants/Raves: now that I don’t feel nauseous all the time, I’m missing out on fall cocktails/ wine!

    Questions: Do you think we are okay to do bump day hump day starting this week? Absolutely!!

    Would you rather: would you rather be in your first or 3rd trimester in the middle of summer? Having the 1st trimester during august was horrible! The heat outside made me more nauseous, and I never wanted to be outside!

    @leamarai I’m  hyper mobile too. Have you ever wrapped your belly with a mobi wrap? It helped it pull less on my ligaments and back with my middle. Also if walking makes everything worse you can usually get temporary handicapped parking pass to help be able to do things like appointments and shopping trips or work.

    @kaitykins Thanks for the tip with the wrap! Right now I'm looking at a belly band that goes under and over the belly, the under one was useless my first pregnancy. They have me starting physical therapy so hopefully it's easy to get a temp placard if I end up needing it.

    Upcoming appointments: 10/20 for the anatomy scan and to find out the sex of baby! 

    How are you feeling? Still like garbage tbh. I’m still nauseous. I’m moody and super depressed lately. And my body is starting to hurt. Round ligament pain mostly. I didn’t get the “honeymoon period” of second trimester with my son and I imagine this will be similar 

    Rants/Raves: rant- whole family had pink eye last week … had to throw away a bunch of makeup and deal with a sick kiddo. Also do every piece of laundry we ever touched
    Rave- my hubby is so good. He makes everyone’s lunches, he grocery shops, he’s an active parent. 

    Questions: Do you think we are okay to do bump day hump day starting this week? Heck yes !!!! 

    Would you rather: would you rather be in your first or 3rd trimester in the middle of summer?
    My son was born Sept 5th so I’ve experienced third tri in summer and it honestly wasn’t bad. It was great for my stress levels and for the fact that I wasn’t working (teacher) leading up to his birth!

    Upcoming appointments: middle of November 

    How are you feeling?: I thought I was feeling better but this week has been ROUGH. Everything is making me nauseated. Smells are awful, even talking about smells triggers me. Lots of gagging and decreased appetite. I’m really ready to start feeling better. 

    Rants/Raves: I am not ready for Halloween to come and go. I guess I’m really just not ready to start thinking about Christmas and what to gift everyone. 

    Questions: Do you think we are okay to do bump day hump day starting this week? Sure!! 

    Would you rather: would you rather be in your first or 3rd trimester in the middle of summer? Both my boys were born in the summer. One the end of June and the other the end of August. I really didn’t mind and enjoyed all the ice cream and swimming.
