Waiting 20 years for this.

I'm finally pregnant. At 40.
Im scared. I'm happy. I've been waiting all my life for this.
My boyfriend of 3 years is not.
He says he's not ready. He's 50 and has 2 daughters, 8 and 24. Not in their lives as much as he wants.
All he can say is he's not ready.
Did anyone else have a struggle with telling the father?

    I was nervous to tell my husband, he’s happy about the baby, but def sad that our relationship will change a bit - we love going out, having fun, etc. and obviously I’m sober and sleepy now! You deserve to be elated for this time, and his feelings are not yours - so just focus on yourself right now tbh!
