How are you feeling?: I thought the nausea was getting better but I guess not. I am getting more energy
Rants/Raves: There is so much going on this month I can't keep up. Between appointments for me and my daughter it's been exhausting and November isn't looking different.
Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: As tall as a kit kat!
Upcoming appointments: October 24th, 25th, December 14th, 15th.
How are you feeling?: The nausea is definitely starting to fade, the dizziness hasn't gone anywhere. Also I wore an outfit today that I wore a lot when I was pregnant with my first and I look as pregnant as I did when I was 20 weeks with her.
Rants/Raves: Even though I know I'm pregnant and have no reason to worry, I still have moments where I'm convinced there's no baby. Also going crazy because tomorrow is 9 business days since I got the nipt and still no results. My Dr says 5-7 days so I'll be calling to see if they lost my sample or what.
Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: height of a tennis ball today. 12w 5d
Upcoming appointments: first diabetes test for me is at 14 weeks in a little over a week. It’s a two hour which is new for me.
How are you feeling?: getting headaches like I did with #2. Happy my dr said yes to melatonin. For sleep. Gaggy most evenings.
Rants/Raves:found out baby is a boy. Daughter sad. Son excited. I’m just happy to know so I can downsize our numerous bins of clothing. Baby hid and my OB couldn’t find the heart beat on the Doppler yesterday. So I got a bonus little peak on an ultrasound. She said it looks good but couldn’t catch a visual for long enough to show me. Baby was wiggly though.
Questions: how to choose a name. I really have a bunch I like and none that I’m thrilled with yet. Maybe I’ll like them more as I consider them.
Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: I think a plum!
Upcoming appointments: we just saw my midwife this past week, next appointment will be the middle of November
How are you feeling?: the nausea is slowly starting to get better and I’m having a lot less gagging! I still can get full really fast and will be uncomfortable if I eat too much
Rants/Raves: we got our genetic testing back and found out we are having two more boys! We have two already at home. I was really hoping for at least one girl but I’m destined to be a boy mom.
@kaitykins 2 hours already??? I have to do an early one as well but that is still only 1 hour
Yeah, I’m have a higher 30’s BMI (I hate math BMI, I wish they’d float me in a pool and watch me sink) anyway, I also was on metformin for my PCOS so they like to test 2 weeks after I go off of it to make sure it wasn’t masking GD. I’m fairly sure I won’t be able to balance with diet if I do have it because I have IBS triggered by foods and I can only eat small serves of veggies before I get sick. Like ⅔ an asparagus spear, or 3 broccoli pieces etc. so it’s hard to eat enough food without carbs. So I’ll probably have to do insulin. I’m just hoping it’s fine. I’ve already lost like 12 lbs without meaning to this pregnancy so who knows.
Re: Weekly Check In 10/16
