Anyone have negative tests because of a diuretic?

I was on Spironolactone for my acne and when I thought my husband and I conceived I stopped it that same day. Well now I’m 6 days late and all my pregnancy tests are negative. I am feeling so dizzy and light cramping. I was reading that diuretics can give false negatives. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this?

    Not sure from any personal experience but if you're urinating more frequently then it's possible diluted urine will give you false negative if the test isn't sensitive enough. Have you tried to schedule an appointment to get a blood test?
