Hi all! VERY early. EDD is June 27. Had my first HCG draw at 3 weeks 4 days. It was 100. Any other experiences with hcg draws so early? This is my fifth pregnancy with three 2 live births and 2 miscarriages. I always worry so much at the beginning.

    Hello. I'm new. I'm assuming 3w 4 days is from last period? If so, I had HCG done 3w 5 days and mine was 15.83. 100 sounds promising.

    My understanding is that it’s less about the number itself and more about how it increases. There is a wide range of “normal” HCG levels, and not everyone ovulates at the same day in their cycle, so there is huge variation. The most important thing is that the number doubles every 48 hours. 

    FWIW, I had mine done at 3W4D too and it was 325. The nurse at my fertility doc said it was pretty high, but all she cared about was that it doubled at 3W6D.

    Mine doubled over 50% so I don’t have to go back until ultrasound! Thank you!!
