*How far along are you? 30w2d

*Which birth month board/due date? December 9

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Have had a name picked out since before she was even conceived, but we're keeping it a surprise until she's here.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Honestly, I still can't even believe this is all really happening and it's even crazier to think that in ~10 weeks we'll be parents. I am so happy to have found this community to help get through the challenges of TTGP and I am wishing the best to you all!

*How far along are you? 4 weeks postpartum tomorrow - to the shock of literally EVERYONE (even my OB) baby girl came 4 days early

*Which birth month board/due date? Sept 2023

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? MH came to my 39w OB appt with me bc it was the morning of our 11th wedding anniversary, and we both took the day off. I was still at 2 cm and like 50% effaced, my OB offered to do a membrane sweep, and triple checked if that’s really what we wanted to do since it was our anniversary. I joked she should just go for it that it probably wouldn’t work because it didn’t work for my first pregnancy, she remarked that even in this god-awful heat I wasn’t looking miserable enough to go into labor anytime soon. Welp, jokes on us. LOL. We managed to have a really nice day just the two of us, lots of inconsistent contractions… I almost thought when we were on our way home from dinner that maybe they were starting a pattern, but they never felt strong enough. We sent my in laws home, they had watched DD, and proceeded to have terrible sex. I decided I had to wash my hair. As I got out of the shower at midnight my water broke in a fashion I would swear was like a balloon popping. I woke my husband back up (men, they fall asleep so dang fast) and we alerted my parents to come down for DD. Got checked in the hospital around 130am, a measly 3-4cm. No hesitation on the epidural this time, and after triage and a bag of fluid I got it at about 330am. I attempted to nap, and was often woken up as baby wasn’t happy in basically any position for an extended time. At 630am the HR monitor moved out of place, and my nurse used it as a chance to have a PA check me and taaadaaa I was at 10cm. After 75 min of pushing we had our baby girl. I feel extremely lucky after everything that it took with my losses to get here, and that I had quite the boring and fast labor (although DD #1 I pushed out in 25 min, the nurses were trying to see if I could beat that).

I’m not sure it’s fully sunk in that all of J’s firsts are my lasts with a baby of my own. I had said two and done, regardless of gender, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t thinking about doing this one more time. I’m not sure how realistic that is, or if I’m living in rose colored newborn glasses. 🌈

Hoping for babies for all of you here, and lurking from time to time to root for you.

Edited to add: I managed to attend all of my concerts (9/7, 9/14, and 9/29). The one on 9/14 I ran into the OB who delivered Jacqueline in the bathroom at a sold out 20k person show 😂

*Which birth month board/due date? Dec 14/16

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Blue!

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We are up between 2 but heavily leaning towards leonidas

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I go in Wednesday to see if my low lying placenta has moved I'm fully convinced my placentas just hate me 😹 fingers crossed it has and I can have another vaginal delivery. Otherwise no signs of pre-e this time which is great. But part of my brain just can't process that I could make it past 36.5 weeks.
