Hair getting thinner, not thicker?!

Hello all!! Officially 8 weeks along with one more week till my first prenatal appt!

But in the meantime something so bizarre is happening, rather than getting thicker like everyone says it does, my hair is shedding and thinning like crazy! Is anyone experiencing/has experienced this? (Please tell me it’s just a weird first trimester thing and I won’t loose all my hair by the end of this pregnancy lol 🙏🏼😳😬)

I’ve never experienced this but could just be due to your hormone changes. Should even out soon I’d imagine!

Likely hormone change. I know someone whose hair does that when they're pregnant but in post-partum their hair thickens. I'm opposite, mine thickens when pregnant then I get the shedding post-partum.
