GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity?:
Seeing the leaves change colors, all the warm comfort food and cuddling up while watching my favorite shows/movies

Team Boy/Girl/Surprise: Surprise. Almost everyone thinks it's a boy. Except for DD1 & DD2. They're convinced it's a girl (of course).
Interesting baby fact/Baby is the size of: Supposedly a honeydew melon. Lies. All lies.
Upcoming appointments: Thursday at the MFM. My last MFM appointment.
How are you feeling: Sore, tired and ready to have this kiddo.
Rants / Raves: If Texas could get it together and realize that it's fall, that's be great....
I think we have everything we need. Breast pump was delivered, clothes (at least the gender neutral stuff) have been washed and put away, blankets ands sheets have been washed and put away, baby's hospital bag is at least half-way packed, bottles have been sterilized and put away. Still have to hire someone to do a deep clean on the house and then put together the bassinet but that's not too bad.
Questions: Anyone doing any fun pictures prior to baby arriving? Maternity? Family? I know I'll at least be doing pumpkin belly pics like I did with DS1/DD1.
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity?: Pumpkin patches! When we lived in MN, we went to the same one every year with DH's aunt, uncle and cousins. We're still exploring different ones here in TX. I love the photo ops and just the fall weather in general.

Making apple butter and apple sauce. Processing deer once hunting season is in full swing. Making bone broth and canning it. Getting my wool sweaters out. Picking my fall and winter projects back up like quilting and rug braiding. Im basically a granny 😂

How are you feeling:
I'm feeling better than I have been the past few weeks. I haven't vomited in a few days which is amazing. Heartburn seems to be under control for the most part. But, I'm hot. All the time. I live in Western NY where it's supposed to cool off in the fall to the 50's-60's....it's supposed to be 85-90 degrees here this week. And, this momma, was not made for the heat - I do not do well.
Rants / Raves:
Rants: I am FREAKING HOT. Where is fall?! Why is it 80-90 degrees in Western NY this week?!
Rave: Baby Sprinkle is on 10/14 so hopefully we will get what we need to be prepared. We already bought the crib and dresser which are assembled in his room. I know my dad is taking care of some of the "must haves" that are a bit pricier like the bedside bassinet, the diaper bag and the swing.

I love everything about Fall! Apple picking, pie baking, leaves changing, cooler weather, rainy mornings/evenings. Halloween! Fall is tied with Winter as my favorite seasons.

How are you feeling: Still tired, and starting to think about ordering baby stuff for the closet soon
Rants / Raves: Raves: DH and I's anniversary is next week, so he planned a weekend away for us. We haven't been on a date since the end of March (where I promptly puked everything up - thanks baby #4 lol), so I'm excited to get away and spend some much-needed time together. We also had a very busy, but good, weekend with my parents for my mom's birthday. It's been awhile since we made it home for someone's birthday, and she was really excited. Rants: When it rains it pours over here. DS3 had a double ear infection that was diagnosed last Friday. He acted like himself, but it completely messed up his balance, so he was running at an angle, falling a lot, etc. Thank goodness that is starting to clear itself up. DS2 fell outside playing last night and smacked his forehead on the ground. He has a very large, bruised goose egg on his forehead, but he is in good spirits. It earned him a trip to prompt care last night right before dinner. DS1 is most likely still plotting his injury, but he did get a cavity filled today, so fingers crossed that covers it lol.
Questions: If you're AMA, what all does your doctor having you doing? I was AMA with DS3, and my old doctor had me doing so much more preventative type stuff than this doctor. For example, I had 2 glucose tests, was on baby aspirin, had a 32-week growth scan, weekly biophysical ultrasounds starting at 36 weeks, and she insisted on inducing me at 39 weeks. This doctor had me doing the 32-week growth scan this week, but otherwise I don't have to do any of those other things.
GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity?: I love corn mazes and pumpkin patches. We've already gone to 2 corn mazes this year, and we will be finding a pumpkin patch in the next couple of weeks to get our pumpkins.
@ohsmith I'm glad your baby shower went well! What all are you packing in your hospital bag?
@UnwritteN12 I love that your daughters are on team girl. DS1 is adamant that this baby has to be a girl because he wants a sister so badly. I don't have any pictures scheduled this time, but we may have to do something fun.
@Kiek I need your motivation to do all the things. I love canning but haven't had space to store stuff the last couple of years.
@medicmomma6115 I hope your baby sprinkle goes well! My parents bought our crib and a few larger items when we had DS1, and it was so nice. This will be the first baby who doesn't use those things because they don't fit in the new space. I'm that weird person who enjoys warmer weather, but 85-90 degrees while this pregnant are not my favorite.

Rants / Raves: at my 32w appt today, I asked the OB if she could tell baby’s position based on feel/heartbeat because I’m convinced baby will be breech like my daughter was. She brought in a portable ultrasound and confirmed baby is head down! I’m hoping he/she stays put now!

GTKY: What is your favorite fall activity?: I love going to fall fests at farms with animals and pumpkin patches and all the things like that. We also live in an area with a few nationally recognized haunted houses, so when I’m not pregnant those are fun

@medicmomma6115 the weather this week is so weird. I’m also in the north east and was wearing shorts today since it was 90. Why am I wearing shorts in October in the north!?
@UnwritteN12 wow you are so prepared! I’ve still got so much to do 😅😅 slowly but surely… also no fun fall photos here, but I did finally book a photographer for newborn photos!

@makingbacon enjoy your trip!! As for AMA, my docs haven't mentioned it much but I will be doing NSTs at 36 weeks due to both ama and my history of cholestasis which hasn't shown up this time.
@runsoncoffee Our kids have also been outside a lot with the nicer weather. I'm glad your cholestasis hasn't shown up this time!

@UnwritteN12 - Good reminder on the photos, my husband is a photographer and I usually drag him out to the backyard for some photos. Pumpkin belly photos sound so cute!
