Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: who knows… but at our last ultrasound on Friday our tech told us it’s little feet we’re about 9mm long! So tiny.
Upcoming appointments: waiting for my family dr to refer me to the maternity clinic… my last pregnancy this was done by 12 weeks so I’m feeling a little anxious nothing has happened yet. Once Dr gets my results from fridays ultrasound I imagine it’ll be soon.
How are you feeling?: like a pile of hot garbage. I’m full goblin mode- so irritable and full of rage. My poor husband… he had his leg in my side of the bed and I raged… but then again, all I want is bed equality lol.
Rants/Raves: my MIL is visiting for two weeks. It’s nice to have some extra hands around the house to help with my one year old/ cooking and cleaning. But sometimes it’s overwhelming to share my space with her…
Questions: Anyone else the most irritable human ever?
How are you planning to tell others/have you told others about the pregnancy? I’m feeling anxious about this. I like it being a secret. I’ve just told close family and friends (mostly via FaceTime/text because they’re in different cities) second baby gets no big announcement lol sorry… I hate telling “the general public”/work colleagues. I’m just not comfortable with those conversations. A) the state of my body shouldn’t have to be a conversation BUT they’re gonna start noticing soon so… I should maybe say something. I don’t like having these conversations at work because they have been hard to listen to when I was struggling with my fertility and pregnancy loss . And I don’t want to put anyone else through that discomfort. C) I also don’t want people at work treating my differently. Or judging how close my babies will be in age. I just don’t want to deal with any of those “well meaning” but kinda not appropriate comments.
GTKY: Favourite show to binge right now? Currently working through Love is Blind and Sex Education.
Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: Weighs the same as a quarter
Upcoming appointments: So many! I have 7 between now and December 15. That includes the level 2 nuchal at the end of October, and they scheduled my 20 week. I'm also high risk due to a heart condition so they set up my fetal/maternal cardiologist appointment. I also have to get my NIPT bloodwork drawn yet.
How are you feeling?: Right now pretty good. B6 seems to have been a game changer for my "night" sickness but insomnia has hit and I'm eternally constipated.
Rants/Raves: My 18 month old is definitely figuring out what's up! We showed her the ultrasound pictures and now she loves to see them and yell baby. She also points at my stomach and says baby.
Questions:
How are you planning to tell others/have you told others about the pregnancy? I've honestly just been telling people as I see them. I'm planning to slip the social media announcement into our 2 year anniversary post next Friday (the 13th) which was supposed to be our actual wedding day but we ended up getting married in 2021 instead. 😂
GTKY: Favourite show to binge right now? Great British Baking Show. With a toddler running around I don't have much time to devote to something new so that's always easy watching that doesn't matter if I miss something.
How are you feeling?: still gagging. My boobs for some reason bothered me today.
Rants/Raves: My baby turned 2 this weekend.
Questions:
How are you planning to tell others/have you told others about the pregnancy? We've been telling more and more. I will probably tell my grandma on the 30th of this month.
GTKY: Favourite show to binge right now? My daughter loves the Price of Right on Pluto. So we have been watching that every night
Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: A strawberry
Upcoming appointments: 10/17
How are you feeling?: Feeling a bit better after starting vit b6! Starting to have some headaches here and there but likely related to dehydration.
Rants/Raves: I flew through a court of thorns and roses this weekend and now I’m stuck on the libby waiting list for the second book. Edited to add, we are supposed to go camping this weekend and the weather is supposed to take a turn for cold. Having a hard time deciding between sucking it up and camping for what likely is our last time for more than a year or just saying forget it and staying home.
Questions:
How are you planning to tell others/have you told others about the pregnancy?: We have told our parents and I told a few coworkers yesterday. It’s been really fun getting to see their reactions to “hey I’m pregnant…with twins”. I can’t wait to tell the rest of our family and friends.
GTKY: Favourite show to binge right now?: I’ve been loving Only Murders in the Building.
Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: Lime, 11 weeks 2 days
Upcoming appointments: October 18th for my firsf midwife apt
How are you feeling?: Still sick 😕 and tired. Hoping this gives up in the next week but not holding out hope. Also, this time I cna be triggered to vomit via smells. And I know thats a normal thing but OMG ITS SO ANNOYING. Thats all.
Rants/Raves: rant: I am OVER not being able to function. But I should be grateful because this is still my best pregnancy sickness wise. Rave: the real bump has arrived!! Ive been blumping hard but I couldnt get pants on today. Its definitely the very start of the real bump.
Questions:
How are you planning to tell others/have you told others about the pregnancy? The important people have been told. Im not active on facebook, so no posts there. We used a cute little photo to announce the baby to family, I told my online social group. Ive been telling people in our homeschool co-op. Mostly because everyone is very concerned about me because Im barely functional 🤣
I was worried about telling family because they havent been the most supportive of how many kids we have (this is baby 4). But the only negative reaction was my grandmother. At some point someone will tell FIL for us and Im sure he wont be happy but I dont really care about that one.
GTKY: Favourite show to binge right now? I mostly watch podcasts and documentaries but hubby and I have been binging Suits.
@leamarai youre 18m old sounds so cute!! My oldest two (6 and 4) argue regularly about the sex of the baby. 6 wants a girl, 4 wants a boy 🤣

human ever?
I just don’t want to deal with any of those “well meaning” but kinda not appropriate comments.
also I hate waiting for my next book on Libby. Then as soon as it’s ready I’m in a busy spell and I miss the loan! Every time.
