Has any one experienced a gestational sac on us but no hgc on blood test

in Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss
So recently I have had an ultrasound showing a gs and sonographer asked if I was pregnant because she saw a gestional sac measuring at 5 weeks 5 days it had a speckle inside. Doctor asked for a blood test to rule out miscarriage but bloods showed 2ml hgc so means I’m not pregnant. Has this happened to anyone else out there

    Yes I'm 12 weeks now as I'm typing this and my levels keep going down they going to test me again in 2 days but I don't understand why when the nurse said she see a sac but no baby broke my heart
