How do you know if you're a contributing member?

1. Ask your heart if you have contributed positively here.

2. Do these people know you? Will they be happy about your pregnancy?

3. Have you offered support to others or have you just blasted your own info out there?

4. We ask that you only post here if you have been participating meaningfully here for at least three months. Sometimes the silence is kindest. Those of us who lurk BMBs will see your intro and PM/comment/love tit.

5. Again, take a moment and step away from your excitement and ask your heart if posting would be potentially hurtful.

I kind of can't believe that I am here right now writing this right, but here it goes... I'm putting this whole thing in a spoiler becuase I can't talk about this BFP without talking about *tw* loss

CD/DPO of first BFP? 9 dpo

How many months/cycles had you been TTC? It's been over 2 years. We've been trying since July 2021, with 2 miscarriages (6 and 12 weeks) and a CP in that time

How long have you been an active participant on the TTGP board? (minimum: 3 full months) Since February 2022

What did your chart look like? I gave up tracking BBT 2 cycles ago, so nothing to see there

What were you doing TGKU? I've been working with an RE, and this was a medicated cycle (letrozole and progesterone) with TI. I also had surgery to have scar tissue removed from uterus in May. I've been doing acupuncture, using sperm friendly lubricant, eat for fertility, exercising regularly, and taking supplements for egg quality too (ubiquinol, NAC, DHEA).

How was your timing? What symptoms did you have, if any? (CS & CD breakdowns welcome) Timing was -1 and 0. We almost didn't get a chance this cycle, but my husband surprised me and came back early from a work trip so we could get it in! No symptoms so far except insomnia.

How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I don't usually involve my husband in the details of TTC, but he's really been trying to be more involved, and I've been trying to let him in, so when I got the first squinty-maybe-could-be line I had him look at it. Neither of us was sure until the positive digital the next day.

Anything else to add? My RE told me that I have about a 50% chance of another miscarriage, so I am trying to stay calm and love this tiny baby as hard as I can for every day that I get to carry him/her. I want to say thank you to this beautiful community of mamas and mamas-to-be. I couldn't have made it through some of my darkest days without you. I also want to say, as encouragement to everyone here still waiting, that if I can get pregnant at 40, after 2 losses, with an AMH of 0.4, I truly believe that it is possible for us all, and I'll be lurking and rooting for each and every one of you!

CD/DPO of first BFP? 35/9 (October 5th)

How many months/cycles had you been TTC? been trying for over a year, since September 2022.

How long have you been an active participant on the TTGP board? (minimum: 3 full months) end of May I believe I joined the chats. I was lurking a few months before then.

What did your chart look like? I did not temp this cycle.

What were you doing TGKU? My dentist had prescribed Vitamin C (3000 mg), a B complex vitamin, and DIM. Also cut back significantly on processed foods, and focused mostly in lean meats, veggies, and fruit. I lost about 20 pounds just in diet alone. Other than that, I watched for CM and took OPKs to help with timing BD.

How was your timing? What symptoms did you have, if any? (CS & CD breakdowns welcome) -1 and 0 was the timing. I actually had no EWCM, just wet. My only symptom was being extra tired.

How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I just showed him the test and asked if he saw a line. It was a major squinter and I was super skeptical. He said he could see something. It wasnt until today that we fully allowed ourselves to believe that I'm pregnant.

Anything else to add? I really didn't think this was going to be my cycle. I didn't even think I had ovulated. We even had started talking about stopping TTC and just be done. I had run out of tests and bought a new brand. Was excited to find a vvvfl early on 9dpo. Then I looked up my brand of tests and noticed some complaints of evap lines, so I started assuming that was what I was seeing. But over the last few days the line has darkened up and I was able to test positive with another internet brand. I feel like I'm still super hesitant to believe it's happening. Hoping to take a FRER day of missed period, since that is the test I have always had for my previous pregnancies.
