How are you feeling?: So much better! I'm wondering now when I take the chance and stop taking the Unisom&B6? Since I take it at night, I'm afraid if I stop then I'll have to spend the next day completely miserable if I'm wrong? 😬

Rants/Raves: I had a cold over the weekend, and felt awful, but luckily recovered quickly and feel better now.

How are you feeling?: Better. Mostly. Still exhausted and easily overwhelmed. Ready for my bump to pop and not lool so flump!

Rants/Raves: Rant: I took the kids to all day music festival on Saturday and then my nephew had a huge birthday party on Sunday that went late. I was a train wreck yesterday! I just absolutely cannot hang. I was totally stressed and insanely cranky with too many responsibilities crammed into one day. I am going to need to be really careful what I say yes to in the next months. Rave: H was really supportive and helpful during my full on melt down day. My oldest told me, it's okay everyone has bad days. I am appreciative that they were so kind to me when I was absolutely not being kind!

Questions:
I am finding myself really hesitant to tell people, which I haven't experienced in the past. Anyone else?

How are you feeling?: feeling much better than first trimester. My appetite is definitely coming back. Nausea is definitely abating.

Rants/Raves: Rant - not a fan of my doctor anymore… gotta find a new one but it’s a pain.

rant - It was finally cool enough to wear a pair of jeans the other day and the seam where the panel meets the jeans hit in just the right spot to make me feel like my underwear was falling down alllllllll day long. Drove me nuts.

Upcoming Appointments: See my homebirth midwife the 27th and scheduled an anatomy scan for Oct 9th

How are you feeling?: tired…ALL the time, which is just annoying. Trying to give myself grace and let some things go around the house as needed but it is getting especially hard to work 12+hrs on my feet and not want to fall asleep every time I sit down.

Rants/Raves:

Questions: how do you moms with 2+ kids keep up on here?! Im trying but it just doesn't happen most days. Jumping in and out will probably be more my pattern. Hope ya’ll don’t mind.

GTKY: What state/region/province do you live in? We live in Georgia, southern US. Still dealing with blazing hot temps and can’t wait for it to cool down!

Upcoming Appointments: had midwife appt last week - 1 hour, answered ~30k questions, and a quick listen to baby’s heartbeat, lol. Sitting waiting for bloodwork today, then NT scan next week.

How are you feeling?: still nauseous all the time. Yay.

Rants/Raves: school starts tomorrow and I’m not ready! Not sure how I’ll manage the 🤢 feeling with all the body spray.

Questions: anyone else finding the Dr appointments to take longer, have longer wait times, etc? Or am I just timing them wrong?

Upcoming Appointments: 9/11 for my early 3hr glucose test

How are you feeling?: We were on vacation last week and I came down with a cold on Friday. It's not covid, and I don't have a fever, so I'm just plain ol' miserable being a mouth breather and waiting for it to pass. Other than that, I've definitely felt an upswing in energy. The pregnancy insomnia has finally started to subside, hooray!

Rants/Raves: My best friend just found out she's pregnant and due 5/11! I'm soooooo excited so raise our babies together!

Questions: Any homeopathic cold remedies that worked for you during pregnancy? I'll take anything I can get!

GTKY: What state/region/province do you live in? Southern MD, about an hour outside of DC.

Upcoming Appointments: just had a monthly check-in today (all's well), and our anatomy scan is scheduled for the 13th!

How are you feeling?: Pretty good. More light-headed than usual, and have bouts of being veeery tired. Not sleeping great.

Rants/Raves: received our first little gift from a family friend; I just love how baby clothes unabashedly have bear ears (a little hooded long-sleeve onesie).

Questions: anyone else feeling averse to vegetables? As a vegetarian it's been very strange having to force myself to eat greens.

@halfanewt yes! I used to love my doctor because I was in and out so quickly, this last appointment, I waited almost an hour!!

@farm_mama I love that your family, and especially your kids are so supportive and understanding! I've been struggling with getting easily overwhelmed too 😩

@embrad86 Good luck with the search for a new doc - I hope you find one you love!

@ceclarlinetlo Ugh, my maternity jeans fell down all day today and it drove me crazy! 🥴

@night_nurse Usually at work on break, or in the evenings after the kids go to bed when I should be doing chores but don't have the energy for anything except couch and phone 🙃 No worries if you're hit or miss, we're happy to have you when you have time!

@cioccolata16 I was so averse to veggies up until 11/12 weeks. It's the worst because it's fresh garden veggie season here and I didn't want any of it 😭 I was so happy the day that I could eat a salad again 🥗

How are you feeling?: Pretty good still having random bouts of fatigue and experiencing some insomnia.

Rants/Raves: rant for all my regular pants feeling too tight but all my maternity stuff feeling like I have to hike it up all day😐

@ceclarlinetlo that is my biggest pet peeve with maternity clothes! I gave up on pants with DS1 and just wore skirts for the last 2-3 months and with DS2 I found the side stretch no panel pants were slightly less annoying.

@night_nurse I try to check in after bedtime, daytime hours are too chaotic.

How are you feeling?: I just started feeling better nausea and food aversions wise, but I've had a migraine for 3 days now and I'm not loving it. I plan to try some caffeine and hopefully the chiropractor today since eating, drinking, sleeping and tylenol have not helped yet. @hedgepig I am also afraid to stop taking the Unisom/B6, I tried 2 weeks ago and definitely had a bad day the next day. Every night I try to convince myself to take half and see what happens, but I am afraid!

Rants/Raves: My partner and I are leaving for a trip tomorrow and it will be our first trip without our child! I am excited to feel like normal people for a weekend but I know we will miss her.

Questions: None right now.

@farm_mama I am also hesitant to tell people. I still haven't told my work and a few of my friends and I just don't want to. I hate the attention, especially from work people I don't know all that well.

@cmill828 That's so exciting you have someone due so close to you! It's such a fun experience! My first pregnancy my best friend was due in December and had her baby in November and I was due in April and had my baby in January so now our kids are 2 months apart!

How are you feeling?: Feeling like I'm finally coming out of the fog, still some relapses, but overall better.

Rants/Raves: rant over not having a dishwasher, washing dishes is so hard right now. 😜 Rave that the kids are pitching in and helping get the dishes done!
