  • EDD/Weeks + days: 27 + 1

Baby is the size of a(n): loaf of wonder bread

    Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: 💚

Upcoming appointments: next Thursday, third anatomy scan for growth

How are you feeling? Ughhhhh. Went on vacation and probably pushed too far, also caught a nasty stomach bug i can't shake! My flight home was miserable, I was in the bathroom every twenty minutes and throwing up...I lost a lot of weight in the last two weeks, so my Dr isn't happy now. Nauseous and heart burn and feeling generally unbalanced, but otherwise glad that I'm almost at the third trimester!!!

Raves/Rants: my Dr has referred me to yet another specialist. I don't have time for these things, but you go where you gotta go. For the baby, right?

Questions: I took my glucose test today while sick on stomach bug. I read online that it can show high glucose levels if I'm sick, so wondering if it was a waste. They convinced me to do it anyway since they want to do it before 28 weeks. Anyone else experience this with previous pregnancy?

Upcoming appointments: Glucose Test on 9/18

How are you feeling? Starting to feel the third trimester approaching...  Definitely feeling more tired throughout the day and out of breath doing things.  Picking things up off the floor is becoming a challenge (so is trying to give our basset hound eye drops since she's so short...).  The heartburn, while I've had it since Day 1 of pregnancy, is more persistent than ever.  It's all worth it though!

Raves/Rants: Really starting to feel like we don't have a lot of time left and it's making me super anxious because our weekends are just getting more and more full.  We have a work trip at the end of September, then my grandparents are having a 50 year vow renewal the first weekend of October, we go to Disney for our anniversary Oct. 21, baby shower Oct. 29, then November we have my brother/sister-in-law's birthdays, my husband's birthday, and Thanksgiving (which we host and my husband is not giving up)...

    Questions: None right now.

@chelleylin Oh no!!! So sorry to hear about the stomach bug and the weight loss; hopefully everything goes well at your specialist appointment and with your glucose test.
  • EDD/Weeks + days: Dec 23rd/25 weeks 3 days

Baby is the size of a(n): cantaloupe

    Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: pink 🩷

    Upcoming appointments: glucose test 9/15

How are you feeling? Overall can’t complain but fatigue is starting to set in. Naps are sneaking it’s way back in to my routine weekend schedule.

Raves/Rants: Work has been super stressful. Not sure if pregnancy is playing a role but ended up breaking down/crying twice last week because of work. On the plus side I’m planning to take the 4 weeks before my due date off so I don’t have to worry about being stressed/ working long hours the month before baby.

@dmcg17 I hear you on the time creeping up!!

    Questions: None at the moment
  • Weeks:25

    Size of cauliflower

    Team blue

Upcoming appointments: cervical length check this Friday. This may be my last one.

How are you feeling: FINALLY getting over my cold. I'm subbing at a preschool this week though, so Lord only knows what I'll get next lol

Raves/Rants: Had my maternity photos taken on Monday. I'm so excited to get them back. Unfortunately, I got overheated at the hair salon (started to black out), so she was unable to finish the style I wanted. She ended up doing an updo from wet hair and it turned out pretty even though it wasn't what I had planned.

    Questions: none

@chelleylin I'm so sorry you've been sick. Pregnant sick is a whole different level. I hope you are on the mend soon ❤️

Upcoming appointments: ultrasound and check up on the 25th

How are you feeling? Good! Although getting out of bed is starting to become a bit of a struggle. A little because I'm tired but mainly because my stomach muscles don't seem to want to engage anymore lol. I have developed a rolling technique that seems to work well.

Raves/Rants: Excited to cooler temps, it's been very hot here the past few day.

    Questions: none at the moment

Upcoming appointments: Star going every 2 weeks next week!!

How are you feeling? Tired!!! Drained! Here in Houston we are have 100 degree days and it is soooo draining! It’s hard to get anything done. I had my glucose test at my last appointment everything came back fine except I’m anemic.

Raves/Rants: heartburn & acid reflux have taken over my life!!

    Questions: none

@chelleylin I’ve only gained 5 pounds this entire pregnancy. Pre-pregnancy I was 189 then 195 then 197 then I lost and went from 197 to 192. At my last appointment I was 194. My doctor is not worried about my weight loss because baby girl is growing and measuring fine. So you will be ok.
  • EDD/Weeks + days: 27 weeks 12/7!

Baby is the size of a(n): lettuce but it also said his fist is the size of a blackberry

    Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: Blue 💙

Upcoming appointments: I have my glucose test next week

How are you feeling? I have the worst back/lower spine pain. My hips are taking a toll this time around because baby is heavy! Lol other than that I’m good I’m ready for December!

Raves/Rants: my boy is doing well in his new school and his schedule works nicely so I have time to myself! We’re about gear up for a move to our new rental in October very excited but I know it’s gonna be a lot.

    Questions: no questions!

  • @chelleylin Yuck! I got food poisoning around this time during my last pregnancy. I thought it was early labor but thankfully it was "only" food poisoning. I went to the doctor right away (to rule out the labor) and was given 1 week until I needed to be able to keep food down. They weren't concerned about the weight, moreso the lack of nutrients going in. I got an extra vitamin while sick. So you're probably totally fine, but it's good you talked to the doctor. Feel better!!

@clt2pwm11 Yay for final cervical check! Are you "graduating" because you've reached viability?

Also feeling everyone on the cooler weather!

  • EDD/Weeks + days: Dec 21 / 25 weeks today

Baby is the size of a(n): cauliflower

    Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: pink

Upcoming appointments: Glucose test and first prenatal yoga class next week. I also found a midwife willing to come support me and baby over Christmas and have a meeting with her coming up.

How are you feeling? Round! Baby seems to have settled into my pelvis, which is nice because my acid reflux is taking a break, but the pubis symphysis pain is worse. The stairs are my nemesis 😂 I also started sleeping with a pillow wedged under my belly and have found that more helpful than a pillow between my knees.

Raves/Rants: We have a name! Although we're sitting on it for another week or so until we share.
Not a rant, but I started back at work after 2 months off and it's harder than I expected, although the most difficult part is baby complaining when I lean forward to see my screen and kicking my thighs - how am I supposed to concentrate?! :D

Baby is the size of a(n): Grapefruit, as long as a carton of a dozen eggs

    Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: 💙

Upcoming appointments: Oct 2nd for Glucose test

How are you feeling? Energy here and there followed by bouts of fatigue. Quite a bit of pregnancy brain and have to remind myself to do stuff on my phone or Google home.

Raves/Rants: I miss having more than one cup of coffee 😫😫
I've tried stopping water intake around 8pm but get up to pee 3-4 times a night now 😴

We think we have a first name picked, but can't agree on the spelling. Our first son's name is unique and both of our names combined, but people have trouble pronouncing/remembering it.  I want the next boy's name to be more traditional (Joel) but my husband wants us to tweak the spelling to be like our names (Jole).
