Baby is the size of a(n): Cauliflower

    Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: Pink! 💗

Upcoming appointments: 9/18 for glucose test.

How are you feeling? Feeling super pregnant today - I had to get back into work clothes to do an open house and I'm feeling like this belly is out of control.  I've had maternity shorts/pants for a while but have still been wearing my regular shirts...might be time to give them up! 😬

    Raves/Rants: None at the moment!

Questions: Is anyone here even close to having a nursery put together? I still have all my office furniture on there and the boxes for our crib/dresser are sitting in my kitchen because I can't help my husband get them upstairs. My parents are coming by on Friday to at least get them upstairs, but we have a lot to do before December...
  • EDD/Weeks + days: 26 +2

Baby is the size of a(n): I forget, some large produce

Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: green!!!! Super fun mind games trying to decide what our baby is

Upcoming appointments: glucose test in a week, as soon as I get back from my baby moon!!

How are you feeling? On vacation, so feeling pretty good!! Smells and different foods continue to trigger, but as long as I take pepcid I feel pretty good! Baby is moving less but I think it's because I'm moving more (7 MI average a day for the last week!)
Definitely popped the baby bump though! Not used to looking obviously pregnant.

Raves/Rants: it's amazing how vacation takes my mind off of pregnancy. It's always in the back of my mind, but I've forgotten a few times and then seen myself in the mirror! Like wow, I can't believe I'm pregnant!

Questions: I've been warned about constipation but I've had the complete opposite this entire pregnancy-tmi, but varying forms of diarrhea. This vacation specifically has been running to the bathroom with no warning! My ob brushed it off when I mentioned it in the beginning but now my mind is thinking of all the potential gastro issues and whether or not I should be seeing someone for this. Anyone else experiencing this?
  • @dmcg17 Our nursery is currently my husband's office, and we're installing AC this fall (fiiiiiiinally), so we aren't even starting converting the room until after baby comes, most likely. I have a bedside bassinet for my room and a changing pad for the dresser in the hallway. Hard-core baby #3 syndrome :D But truly, don't stress. All you REALLY need is a safe sleeping space. Set the crib up in your office and deal with the rest whenever you get to it <3

@chelleylin I had a similar situation in my first pregnancy. Do you get diarrhea with your period? I think my body was just reacting to my expanding uterus squishing my intestines. I had daily diarrhea for the first half of my pregnancy, then it slowly turned to constipation by the end. Hopefully your body adjusts soon!

  • @booksandicecream Thanks for the reassurance! We have a newborn photographer scheduled to come to our house when she's born, so I at least want it to be somewhat put together, but even if we just have one wall done, we can just shove everything else to the other side, hahaha. For sleeping, I have the Babybub pillow and it seems to help a lot!  It gives enough support to my back and belly and also comes with a small pillow for between my knees.  It's also not massive, so I can turn over comfortably when I need to.

    @clt2pwm11 Glad you're getting a staycation!
  • EDD/Weeks + days: Dec 16/ 24w + 4d

Baby is the size of a(n): cantaloupe

    Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: pink

Upcoming appointments: check up next Tuesday

How are you feeling? Tired but happy. I haven't been sleeping well, like some of you a lot of tossing and turning at night. Also I had my glucose test and some other things tested and apparently my iron looks to be a little low so perhaps that has something to do with the tiredness. But we will see what the doc says on Tuesday. My husband wanted me to call the doctor about the results but I'm sure they would love that lol. Me: "So.. I Googled my results and this is what I have diagnosed. What do you recommend." 😅 I think I will wait for them to reach out. All the other results looked to be in normal range so that's good!

Raves/Rants: We have started "working" on the babies room. @dmcg17 we are in the same boat. Just moving things around right now. But I find I'm so tired during the day and after I complete all my work tasks I have zero energy to dedicate to organizing stuff! My husband has been wonderful and has really taken the lead on getting things going so I am grateful for him and his positive attitude. We have an appointment to go look at some nursery furniture tomorrow which I'm looking forward to.

Questions: No questions, just happy to see everyone doing well.
  • @clt2pwm11Happy anniversary to y’all! We are doing a staycation baby moon next week for our 9th anni!! Looking forward to sleep and not thinking about work for a few days!!

@booksandicecream Prenatal yoga has been a game changer for me and my sore hips!! There are lots of options on the Peloton app!

Upcoming appointments: glucose test sept 13!

How are you feeling? I’ve been okay! My hips have been bothering me at night and sometimes during the day so I got a belly support band. It’s kind of helping lol

Raves/Rants: we had the 2nd anatomy scan to look at sweet boys heart and everything is all good! The white spot will dissolve over time and his genetic test came back low risk!

Questions: still dealing with the umbilical hernia if anyone has any tips I’ve tried belly taping but it hurts taking it off 😅

  • EDD/Weeks + days: December 2, 2023/26+5

Baby is the size of a(n): head of kale

    Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: Blue! 🩵

Upcoming appointments: Glucose screening test + first OB visit

How are you feeling? In general, I am feeling great. My only complaint now is that I have lower back pain and hip pain that is sometimes crippling. I've been using my heating pad when I need it and doing stretches and workouts to strengthen the area and it is helping a bit.

Raves/Rants: baby boy is moving and grooving daily and I love feeling him roll and kick and punch. He is so strong already.

    Questions:
  • EDD/Weeks + days: Dec. 28 / 23 weeks today

Baby is the size of a(n): Grapefruit

    Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: Blue 💙

Upcoming appointments: Regular checkup in a couple of weeks

How are you feeling? I’m feeling good! I am a teacher and our first week back was this week. I am completed exhausted at the end of the day!

Raves/Rants: Our crib arrived today and the nursery is coming together well! His room is my new favorite in the house!

    Questions: none right now
  • EDD/Weeks + days: December 15/24+6

Baby is the size of a(n): cantaloupe

    Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: 🩵

    Upcoming appointments: Glucose screening test

How are you feeling? Surprisingly normal! I had a scare two weeks ago during a work trip, where I woke up bleeding. It was particularly rough since I was out of state, so I had to go ER instead of my local clinic. Turns out everything is fine, thanks goodness. Doc said she thought it was likely because I had a low placenta, although it has since moved up to a “normal” height 🤷‍♀️

Raves/Rants: hubby was finally able to feel him kick!!! So cool 😍 😍
  • EDD/Weeks + days: Dec 31st; 22w6d

Baby is the size of a(n): Cinderella’s Glass Slipper

    Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: Team Blue! 💙

Upcoming appointments: Sept 20th, regular check up!

How are you feeling? Pretty good! Tired some days, and hip/neck pain some days, but otherwise good!

Raves/Rants: We go on our annual big family Disney camping trip in less than a week and I’m excited. 10 days of just hanging out with family and being at my favorite place!

Questions: To reply about the baby room, this is my 4th, we have a 4 bedroom house, so it’s likely He won’t even have a room until around the 6 month age when we usually start to kick them out to their own room. My two oldest daughters are so excited for bunk beds, my 18 month old will move into my middles room, and our little dude will have the nursery that we thankfully did a star wars theme for my daughter, so we can change up a few things to make it less girly and he will fit right in! Haha. We have a bassinet and little area in our room that will be his dedicated space for his first 6 months! I would say don’t stress about it, but if it brings you joy to have a room prepared, go for it! 😊

Sorry I keep popping in sporadically! Life is so busy for me between staying home with my 5,3,&1 year old, homeschooling the older two, and keeping up with keeping the house clean, spending some time with my husband, and my bible studies each week. I have never had so much on my plate and yet my heart has never been so full. Extremely thankful for all the blessings God has in trusted me with, but just know I would like to try and be more present here but I don’t want to drop any hats anywhere else, so this kinda takes the backseat sometimes! Gonna try and set a goal to check in weekly for 30 minutes or so! 💕
