    I know it's bad but I hadn't been to the dentist in years because I didn't have dental coverage at my previous job. I went today for a cleaning and 😭 I never remember the dentist ever hurting or being this uncomfortable before, even those times as a kid I needed to get cavities taken care of. I guess it's a good thing my teeth were in good shape because now I don't wanna go back in 6 months 😳

    @winterecho I was right where you are now last October, that first return visit was so hard on my gums!! But I’ve been for cleanings twice since then and it’s been SO much better. Hang in there! The routine is everything imo. (And yay for being in good shape after so long away from the dentist—I’m envious.)

    @aisleofviewtwo OK so hearing that it gets better does make me wanna make sure I'm keeping up every 6 months 😅 I switched to an electric toothbrush a few years ago so I'm sure that helped me get a better clean at home
