The book Gentle Birth Choices talks about fetal heart rate monitoring. It seems that it’s not a definitive way to identify fetal distress and that many babies have been rushed into c-section delivery and not found to be in distress at all. Take all technology with a grain of salt; that’s what I’ve learned. They flagged my placenta as globular and the next scans showed nothing out of the ordinary. Needless worry.
