    Status: it’s been a tough week. Potential pregnancy or second loss in comments
    I had an ultrasound last week and they found some potential retained tissue, or potentially a second loss, or very very unlikely possibly the early start of pregnancy. We have no idea which way it will go. My hcg was elevated, which any of those could cause. The plan is to repeat bloodwork - if it decreases or remains stable I’ll have another d and c, probably next week. If it increases, we’ll do another ultrasound in two weeks and see if anything is viable. I have no idea which way things will go and frankly I don’t think the doctors do either. They said it was just a fluid pocket- nothing else to indicate a viable pregnancy, so the delay in the second d and c is mostly just precautionary. I haven’t gotten pregnant spontaneously since 2015, prior to all the scarring that causes issues so it’s pretty unlikely. I was given about a 3% chance with perfect timing. 

    How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well?
    The good news is the OB my RE refered me to- I really like! She was compassionate, upfront and honest. And called me at 930 at night with my hcg results and the plan she’d like to follow, so I wasn’t in limbo over the weekend. 

    Any testing coming up/any recent results? We are holding off on testing until we sort out which way this goes. My RE wants to do a SA first- he’s concerned that my husband’s age may be a factor, and honestly if it is- that’s a easier less invasive path forward to a take home baby.

    GTKY: What was your biggest accomplishment this past week?  I finished redoing our bathroom vanity! It was baby blue. 😳😂💙💙 the walls were pink. It was baaad.
