Hi!! I'm a bump veteran at this point and its always fun to read why you decided to take a test and what your first symptoms were. SO: was there a particular reason you decided to take the pregnancy test?

  • This sounds silly. But its happened every time. When I get pregnant and I bend over, something just feels weird. Like theres something in the way. I appreciate that the urerus isnt even really bigger at this point but its been an unmistakable moment every.single.pregnancy.
The sore breasts and the general weird crampiness also alerted me this time. And the super sniffer SHOULD have but it didnt 🤣

  • Because I have very regular periods and keep track on my fitbit I knew I was pregnant. I tested 6 days before my period and it was positive.
  • I also tested 6 days early but had a feeling it would be positive because I felt slightly nauseated while eating breakfast.
  • As part of ‘trying’, my doc had me taking progesterone for the 2 weeks after my ovulation window. This time, I was SURE that we’d missed our LH window and I was NOT pregnant. Buuuut I still followed doc orders to test to see if I should continue taking the med or stop. Then behold the surprise— my partner heard me yell “Huh?!?!” from the bathroom 😝
  • I puked up the coconut shrimp from Costco that is my absolute favorite and was so angry like "No. There is no way". Also I swear a few days before that my 17 month old pointed at my stomach and said "Hey Baby".
  • My story is very scientific! Lol

I started tracking my ovulation and hormones using Inito. I saw my progesterone and estrogen rise, then I started to feel tired and a little nauseous. I tested on 08/05 (8 DPO) and got a faint line. I tested every day after that and got my BFP on 08/07 (10 DPO).

I am high risk due to my age and having two autoimmune disorders, so I called my OB that day and had labs done. Tested every two days after to confirm HCG was rising. So now I’m 5w3d and will be 6w0d on 08/28 for our first scan.

I’m super nervous and scared because my previous pregnancy was a loss and my symptoms with this one are very different. My friends tell me that’s normal, but it’s still hard not to worry. Hoping for a healthy baby!
  • We had been not-not-trying since April. I’m still breastfeeding my almost 1 year old and I hadn’t gotten a period yet, so I didn’t know when I was ovulating or if I even could. (My first took a few years, one loss, and lots of ovulation induction meds to conceive. I honestly haven’t ovulated on my own since I was like 18 so this is a shock)… In July we were definitely trying more, even though we didn’t want to really admit it. My husband would tell me to take a test every couple weeks, even though I dread taking them after years of infertility… I took one July 26 and it was negative. A couple weeks later on August 7… I had been feeling pretty emotional, a little bit crampy, and very slight nausea. I decided to test again and was FLOORED that it was positive.
  • We were on our 3rd month of trying and I am guilty of always testing way too early. My partner and I went away for a long weekend and I intentionally didn’t bring any tests with me so I could fully relax. I got my first faint positive the morning after we got back at 3 weeks, 5 days (11 dpo).
