Non immune to varicella zoster

I recently had blood work done and it came back as not immune against the chicken pox and shingles. My doctor informed this can be very dangerous if caught while pregnant to the baby. Has anyone else been in this situation. I am nervous now to go out any where as I was vaccinated but apparently it’s showing up as non immune

    Talk to your doctor. I don’t think they can give you the immunization bc it I think it is a live virus vaccine. But also due to vaccination it is a less common disease now compared to 30 years ago. Avoid people with shingles or chicken pox and take normal precautions, washing your hands etc. They will likely offer you the vaccine after the baby is born.
