    EDD / Weeks + Days: 11w2d

    FTM/STM/TTM+: 4th

Baby is the size of a (an): fig
Team blue/pink/green: I sort of want to stay green, but DH absolutely wants to know so we will probably find out.
    Upcoming Appointments: Wednesday
How are you feeling?: I feel like garbage.
Rants/Raves: I know I say this every week, but I just didn't remember how hard this was. I am really struggling with my base line obligations.
GTKY: Do you like to read? If so, what genre? I love to read, but don't do as much as I would like. I read aloud to my kids daily so I read a lot of middle grade books these days. I like historical fiction and nonfiction on a wide range of subjects.
  • EDD / Weeks + Days: 3/9, 11w2d

    FTM/STM/TTM+: 3TM

Baby is the size of a (an): paper towel tube

Team blue/pink/green: green for another few days. Hopefully getting NIPT results this week

Upcoming Appointments: next Wednesday with my ob

How are you feeling?: pretty good. My energy is back up for the most part but I still crash around 3-4 pm just before I need to start cooking dinner. Also I’m thirsty non stop so I’m peeing non stop😐

Rants/Raves: rave-my kids slept until 8 this morning and it was wonderful to have that little extra quiet time before our day got busy. Rant-not pregnant me signed my kids up for all the activities and that’s normally not a problem because generally nothing is the same day. Pregnant me is having a hard time remembering all the things and forgot to take the kids to summer camp today. Tomorrow they have farm scouts, summer camp back to back so we’ll be out from 9-5 and then Wednesday they have camp then soccer back to back so
out from 12-7. I’m already tired.

Questions: does anyone have a maternity legging or yoga pant they love that is not a full panel?

GTKY: Do you like to read? If so, what genre? I love to read. We do literature based homeschool curriculums because my boys are both readers as well so I’m constantly reading early-middle grade books, lots of DK/NatGeo encyclopedias (DS1 likes facts). Free reading for me is usually fantasy, mystery, thriller, romance or true crime.

  • EDD / Weeks + Days: 3/28 8 weeks 5 days

    FTM/STM/TTM+: 5TM

Baby is the size of a (an): raspberry

Team blue/pink/green: thinking girl, still deciding of we will find out or wait

Upcoming Appointments: midwife in bout 3 1/2 weeks

How are you feeling?: Nauseated, so tired

Rants/Raves: rave over a good ultrasound today! Heart rate in the 170s, due date moved up a few days. So thankful for a good report!

    Questions:

GTKY: Do you like to read? If so, what genre? I love to read! I enjoy classics like Anne of Green Gables, Jane Austen, romance, some mystery like Dorothy Sayers. I recently read The London House by Katherine Reay and enjoyed that!
  • EDD / Weeks + Days: 3/13/23, 11w

    FTM/STM/TTM+: FTM

Baby is the size of a (an): lime

Team blue/pink/green: will find out asap!

    Upcoming Appointments: sep 6

How are you feeling?: Had a few days where I thought my appetite was starting to come back, but it was short lived, aversions are present. Still having some fairly strong bouts of nausea and am exhausted!

Rants/Raves: can I rave about the fact that I did my own laundry? Lol- I like to celebrate the small things right now.

Questions: do people commonly do both NIPS AND Nuchal Translucency Screening, one or the other, any sequential order? Trying to decide which screening is best for us.

GTKY: Do you like to read? If so, what genre? Yes! When I give myself time to read, I enjoy reading people's stories, nonfiction.
  • @farm_mama I'm so sorry you're still feeling so awful. Have you tried the unisom+b6 combo? It's been so helpful for me. Trying to be a parent to older kids when you feel yucky is the worst 😪

@kmw611 I am still so tired too 😴 Any day when I can get a little nap is a good day!

@mamacricket512 Yay for a good US!

@m2b2024 My practice only does NIPT because they say it's more accurate, so no need to do both.

    ---
We got our NIPT results today! All the chromosomal stuff is negative or low, and looks like we are having two boys! I'd be lying I'd I said I wasn't hoping for a girl/ girls, but I'm really happy that they are healthy and just have my fingers crossed that they aren't too wild! We had girl names that we reeeeaaaallllly wanted to use and now we never will, and boy names are sooooooo hard, but other than that all is good 💙💙

    FTM/STM/TTM+: TTM

Baby is the size of a (an): soda can tab

    Team blue/pink/green: green

    Upcoming Appointments: not until 9/1

How are you feeling?: finally getting over the worlds longest cold, so that’s nice. Still super nauseous if i don’t keep a relatively full stomach. Sigh.

Rants/Raves: not ready to go back to work next week! Haven’t even tried jeans yet, and slightly worried about my wardrobe and keeping this a secret for another month 😬

GTKY: Do you like to read? If so, what genre? Sure do! I end up reading lots of YA books for work, and I enjoy fantasy, sci-fi, and cozy mysteries.
  • @kmw611 not maternity leggings specifically, but the Z by Zella leggings have a pretty low rise option (or at least used to) that are sooo comfy. They’re good quality, too, and have lasted me years - pregnant and not! They’re a little less comfy the last month or so, but work well for a long while.

@hedgepig congrats on good NIPTs and double the boy trouble! I’m with you - boy names are so much harder.

@m2b2024 I ended up doing both in the past - the NT scan was covered by insurance and the NIPT was not. We wanted the more info from the NIPT and figured it was never a bad thing to see bebe on screen a bonus time! Curious to see if my coverage has changed this time around.
  • @hedgepig congrats!!! And you’re giving me hope I’ll get my results this week🤞🏻🤞🏻 boy names are so hard! I feel like I’m having a boy and only have girl names because we have 2 boys already.

@halfanewt ill check those ones out! All my regular leggings and pants are mid/high waisted because I can’t stand clothes sitting on my C-section scar but they’re getting tight😂

  • @kmw611 I got my draw on Wednesday and had the results the following Wednesday - I was so surprised! It was the Myriad Prequel test.
Our first is a boy but we used a family name so it was easy. It would be way harder for you because you've already had to think of TWO!

  • @hedgepig my blood draw was last Wednesday too. I got the email about my results right after I posted earlier but had to wait for my husband. Low risk for all the chromosomal stuff and I was wrong, it’s a girl! 🎉
  • @kmw611 Congrats!! 💗

  • EDD / Weeks + Days: due March 6, 2024

FTM/STM/TTM+: I have one non-bio child, and this is my first healthy pregnancy

Baby is the size of a (an): plum

Team blue/pink/green: I want to find out, but I'm happy with either. My hubby wants a girl

Upcoming Appointments: 16 wk in September

How are you feeling?: scared, excited. Still a little nauseous

Rants/Raves: I am getting ready to announce soon. We have told our child, siblings, nieces/nephews, parents, and grandparents. Everyone's reactions have been so exciting.

Questions: I started taking aspirin to prevent pre-eclampsia,  and I feel like it jump-started my morning sickness again. Any tips from people who have been through this?
