Ultrasound

I went in for my first ultrasound at 7 weeks and 5 days and there was just a sac. No baby + heart beat. Ovulation is 100% correct as I’m going to the fertility clinic and everything has been tracked. Doctor said it’s not looking good, but he’s also not ruling that’s it’s a miscarriage yet as it could be that the baby was hiding or too small to see it. I’m terrified and sad. This pain is a whole other level. I have to go back next Tuesday. This waiting game is killing me. My family said you don’t necessarily always have to see baby and heart beat by then and I know I’ve heard stories where some don’t see/hear it until 9/10 weeks. Do I have any hope? Send prayers for me. I’ve tried so long to get pregnant.

    I am so sorry, that must be so scary 💓 I have no advice, but I really hope it all turns out good for you. If it doesn't though, please be gentle with yourself. It's so hard and you are doing your best 💛

    In my case, I couldn’t see anything until 8 1/2 weeks last time and even then he was almost too small to see. There is still hope, and we’re all rooting for you. As @hedgepig said, if not this time, please don’t beat yourself up about it.
