Bachelorette Parties/Weddings

Hi,

FTM here due at the end of December - I have been asked to be in 3 weddings next year (1 in May, 2 in June) with 3 bachelorette parties (2 nights/3 days each - 1 in April, 2 in May) - am I biting off more than I can chew?  I know I will not have a newborn by then but that feels way to soon to take all those trips.  Thoughts??

Re: Bachelorette Parties/Weddings

  • It is totally your preference! If you feel like it’s a lot even with baby being older you can absolutely say no ❤️

  • Like @madimom95 said, I think it's really up to you and how you feel.  When do you need to commit by?  If they don't need an immediate answer maybe ask them to give you some time to think about it or just commit to being in the weddings for now and not the bachelorette parties since they're multiple nights away.
  • Personally, I would decline the bachelorette parties. Just speaking for myself and I know everyone is different but there is absolutely no way I could leave my baby in the first year. When my son was 5, I left for 4 nights. It about killed me.
