Trying to Get Pregnant

WTO w/o Aug 7

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. • Hi ladies, just stopping in to check in and cheer you all on.

Month/Cycle:  6/6 AL (benched for the 3rd cycle)

    CD: 1

R/R:  I am doing my thyroid re-draw next week and technically we could try this month if my numbers are normal but now we are in the due date avoidance window.  We are expecting to move in May next year so this cycle and next we can’t ignore the (very very remote) possibility of conceiving and moving out of state with a newborn or around 38/39 weeks.  And beyond that we’re facing deployments after we move, and we know NOBODY except a realtor in the new spot, also it’s a really remote spot.  It feels like our window of opportunity has closed up.  Like it wouldn’t be wise from here on out.  I just feel silly for letting myself be open to TTC at the beginning of the year.

  • Hi all! Sorry I haven't been real active. I've just been discouraged. But trying to stay positive.

    Month/Cycle: 10/12 I think

    CD: 1

    WAYDTGKU: OPKs, BD

R/R: I'm feeling very discouraged. I'm getting positive OPKs every month but my luteal phase the last few months has only been 8 or 9 days. I'm honestly wishing I could go ahead and see my OB now but I know if it hasn't been 12 months they won't do any testing. But I'm here! Will try to be more active again.

@bserena hey cycle buddy ❤️ Did your OB tell you they wouldn’t do testing until you hit 12 mo?  Maybe a UO but after TTC for 10 months and having a documented reason to be concerned (wanting to rule out LP defect after short LP across several cycles) I really think you should go ahead and make your appointment and ask for testing!

  • I've been MIA for a while. I had a lump on my breast and had to get a mammogram. Luckily, all is well! So we can TTC again. We are really NTNP right now, as I'm also working on some personal goals and with a wellness specialist to try to be more healthy.

    Month/Cycle: 16/I don't keep track

    CD: 9

WAYDTGKU: All the supplements, health and wellness plan, and lots of BD of course

R/R: NTNP is so much more relaxing. I know about when I ovulate so we super try around that time without BBT or OPKs and my sanity is saved. Then, i feel like ish because I'm not "doing anything" to TTC. It's such a double edged sword.

    CS/Q: Nope

  • Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD: 24

    WAYDTGKU: opk, bd

R/R: just waiting around for O. Feels like my cycles last forever... But then tww feels even longer lol
