recent loss June 2023, 5 prior losses, lupus anticoagulant antibodies positive so they are thinking antiphsophlid syndrome is a possibility

    Status: WFAF

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? Met my new primary care today- I really liked her! She was supportive of our ttc journey and offered to help however she can.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Most recent loss was a T15 pregnancy. Still coming to terms with that.

Questions? Meeting with a new RE on Monday 😬🫣😳 what would you ask?

GTKY: What’s awesome about where you live?  Access to medical care! We just moved to Boston and night and day from living in rural Vermont. We are just over the NH line and I’ve always loved this area- mountains and oceans and seasons oh my! But the access to medical care in Boston is top notch.

  • @charmedlifex3 Glad you liked your new primary care. Good luck with your new RE! I saw on the IF thread that you’re at Boston IVF? I’ve been with them since April. I was nervous after reading some negative reviews, but I’ve been super happy with how we’ve been treated and I absolutely LOVE my RE. I hope you’ll have a similar experience!

P.S. I’m from back woods NH and every time I go back I can’t believe how lucky I was to grow up in the woods and mountains like that. It felt like a very boring prison when I was a teenager, and now at 40 it feels like heaven.
  • @maggiemadeit we are in Brookline, which everyone assured me is back woods. But we moved here from a town of 550 in very rural Vermont so this *feels* huge to us. My husband works in Waltham, so we are going to the Waltham location. Fingers crossed we like him! But if we don’t, the good news is it’s a huge organization so we could probably switch easily? 😬😬😬
